I'm not an athlete or exercise guy, while at work, I had a cell phone that counted my steps. I recently retired and wanted to make sure I was still walking as much as I did at work. The sleep feature is excellent, Letting me know when I'm sleeping and when I'm restless.

I've been using the Charge HR+ for three months now and love it! Helps me stay on track with my fitness goals. It's not 100% accurate but it give you a general idea of your daily activity. Paired with the free fitbit app it really helps keep me motivated throughout the week!

Device is good, provides all required details but... Didn't sync-up at all with smartphone app (Android - Samsung S4), did device upgrade then was able to sync-up atleast with the PC. So due to sync-up issue - it is an average - good product.

    A disappointing fitness tracker

I purchased this Fitbit Charge HR after owning a regular Fitbit Charge. The band disintegrated on the Fitbit Charge where the electronics meet the band after only 4 months. I used the Geek Squad warranty credit to purchase this one. I originally wanted the HR. I have had it for almost 2 months now. The band is still holding up but the Fitbit Charge HR has trouble synching with my phone The regular Fitbit Charge had no problems. Also, the battery life is hugely disappointing. It does say "up to" 5 days. I can barely get 3 days out of one charge. Hugely disappointing and inconvenient for an item that is designed to be worn 24-7 for best tracking accuracy. I find myself seemingly needing to charge it all the time. The more time it is off my wrist, the less time it can track. I got an honest 5 days out of the regular Fitbit Charge. This is despite reviewing the instructions to maximize battery life. I hope the band holds up better then the regular Fitbit Charge. Right now I wish I had the regular Charge instead of this Charge HR.

This is very easy to use, even for a "guy". Really kept me on track. Quite a few questions about sizing. I have a large wrist and it is over 7.5 inches. So, sizing said I should have ordered an XL from the website. Took a chance and tried the Large from Best Buy. Fits great!

It does not do the workout for you (or even make you do it); but it absolutely gets you focused on activity. You walk down the street rather than driving. You take the inefficient route to someone's office. It just keeps you thinking of getting your steps in for the day.

I had the flex at first. But it popped off while moving. So I decided to get the charge with the watch band. Love it. Gets me moving with the challenges from coworkers. Only thing is that the battery doesn't seem to last more than 2-3 days.

Was looking for a fitness tracker and this is very good. Plus (for me): Clock, step counting, calorie counting. Minus: Wish it was water resistant to the point I could keep it on in the shower and when swimming.

I've really enjoyed this Fitbit HR. I like that I can see how long I sleep and how fast I fall asleep each night. I have to remember to put it back on if I take it off. I like that it tracks my exercise and it knows when I'm exercising because my heart rate increases so much. It tells me how's my calories I've burned. It would help if I entertain food intake but I dont use that part. My Friend said I can use Myfitnesspal with this Fitbit app but I haven't tried yet. I have the Plum color and I like that color band. I made a mistake and ordered the Large size and I didn't take it back. It big but I'm okay that there some room for my wrist. As long as the HR reader part is against u skin, it reads my heart rate just fine. There's room for airflow on the sides of my wrist. I recommend this if u are interested in your activity throughout the day. I use my iPhone Fitbit app to see how I'm doing throught the day. I'm happy with this purchase.

I had the original Fitbit. It eventually broke so I decided to get the new HR. I love it. It's still small enough to be worn while playing sports and is now more accurate at tracking my activity and helps work out training zones. The call notification is a nice touch too.

Heart rate monitor is great to keep you on track during your workout. The calorie count is pretty close to being accurate. The steps and flight counts are off. The silent alarm is great to be woken up with, no more alarms to scare you awake.

My husband was always asking me what time it was and he loves to walk the golf course. So, I decided to get him the fitbit to keep track of his walking and got the one with the watch so he would stop asking me what time it is. Works awesome and he is loving having this gift!

It seems to be accurately counting my steps and flights of stairs climbed. I haven't spent much time entering my food and water and all that, but I plan on working on that soon. The clasp isn't the easiest to use but I think it is pretty secure.

It seems to be doing everything that was advertised. We charge it every 5 days. Be sure to charge it before you try to set it up. You have to go online to set it up and you have to charge it using a computer. Wish it had come with a normal charger otherwise it is fine.

So far this is doing ok. I got it for my wife, so this is a 'second hand' review'. There are times when it fails to automatically classify sleep, and there are also times when it fails to pick up heart rate during the day - I suspect it is because my wife doesn't always wear it as tight as it should be. We can often see the flickering green light coming form her wrist. It is frustrating that the charger is not a std USB. it needs its own custom cable - this IMO is a FAIL! It is removed for showers, baths, beach, and swims, and so far is surviving. The Jawbone previously failed by this stage, but it was not treated as well as this is (ie worn in the shower). It hasn't gotten her to exercise yet, but she is now aware of how sedentary her existence is, and how little sleep she gets. As they say. to improve something, you first have to measure it...

I love my FitBit!!! It has motivated me more than I thought it would. My husband saw how enticed I was with it, he purchased on for himself. I love the ability to challenge my friends. Just had it 3 weeks and can get in an old pair of jeans :--))

For those who want a device that tracks your workout, daily routine and sleep, and it not a bulky watch (although it has time), fitbit hr charge is it. The app is great and best of all fitbit does a great job with keeping your personal information private. This was key for me.

Love this product. I like the new feature that i can sync it to my phone so I know who's calling me when not near the phone. Plus is nice to keep track of my heart rate at different levels of activity. I didn't think I would use that feature, but I really do. Keeps me more mindful of what i'm doing, and actually my stress level. Nice features. Only complaint is that they still haven't perfected the band or battery longevity. the bands tend to peel apart and the batteries don't seem to last. Need to replace every 5 months it seems.
