Doctor recommended a product like this to keep track of sleep habits, and after some research we decided to go with a Fitbit. The HR probably wasn't needed for simple sleep tracking, but we liked the idea of being able to log the heart rate also. Unit is small and has a simple display that scrolls through all of the tracked items, such as steps walked, flights of stairs climbed, clock, and in this particular model the heart rate also. Would buy another, and recommend this unit to anyone looking for this type of product.

I owned a competitor tracker before this one and decided I wanted to make a change. I like this tracker. It is very easy to put on and off due to it having a watch like band. The heart rate seems to track well. I have compared against my Precor Heart Rate monitor and seems to be inline. The step tracker itself sometimes tracks with hand movements. I also feel the sleep tracker could be better (Competing tracker had a better sleep function). The challenge features are fun.

I bought the Fitbit Charge HR before Christmas. I kinda thought it was gimmicky, but I was wrong lol. Not only does it accurately keep my steps, stairs, heart rate, time, caller ID it also has a stop watch and monitors my sleep. The battery life is great because of the small screen IMO. Plus the small screen is perfect for working out so its more protected. I bought the Large size and it fits perfect and I am 6' 235lbs. And last but not least when I look down at it on my wrist, it reminds me to take my workouts seriously!

Great product. Able to check pulse when walking/running as well as the calories burned during the day and the number of steps for the day.

Really great product. It's very accurate with step counting and the sleep feature is really cool, and it's not super bulky. The sizing is a bit hard to decide. The only way you can measure your wrist size is from the side of the box, and it's not as accurate as being able to try it on. Like I said, the sleep feature is awesome, the heart rate is really cool and interesting as well. And the challenges you can do against friends is cool too. I love mine and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fitness tracker.

I had the Charge HR for about 3 months. The Good: step counter, call notification, means to track/check your heart rate, simple, comfortable. The Bad: unsophisticated/youthful look, lack of other notifications, syncing, charging, battery life. I got rid of this (or any) Fitbit as I work in a business professional office and always felt lax in my attire when wearing it. And besides, I faced facts and realized that the time and notifications were what I really liked about it.

I've been using my fitbit for a little over a month and think it's great! The fitbit syncs to your fitbit account online, which lets you track your steps, calories burned, activities, heart rate, and other data over time. Also, if you're in the HealthMiles program, you can sync with your fitbit account to pull in and get credit for your steps completed. The downside, is that it requires some work on your part for it to be fully useful. For example, to track your calories, you have to manually enter what you've eaten each day.

I purchased this for my Husband for his B-Day and it was a Hit! He is able to monitor his HR, daily activity, exercise, etc..via IPhone, or pc.. He had been having A-Fib and is going to have a Cath Ablation in August, so this is wonderful at keeping him up on what his HR is doing daily.. He still works full time and goes to the gym 3xweek and plays golf on saturdays. He since last year has lost 60lbs. From 231lbs down to 170.00lbs.. This is a great tool to have..Run do not walk on this purchase, you will not be disappointed..

This thing is the bee's knees. This is what makes me get out of bed in the morning. Best part of the day is when the watch alerts you that you've reached your daily goal steps. But wait, there is more! This beauty of a mechanism monitors your heart rate too. Let's be honest, who has time to take your own heart rate. "Ain't nobody got time for that" As Billy Madison would say, "you ain't cool unless you have the Fitbit HR"

Between this device and the free app that actually tabulates all of your activity (and inactivity of sleep), one can really get a good idea of how healthy and mobile... or unhealthy and immobile... one is. It's quite simple to use (you just slap it on your wrist), and the app can be a bit addictive, keeping track of each day's activity and adding any caloric or fluid intake. I would imagine (based upon my use of this device and research of others) this is the best deal, providing the most insight into one's normal, daily life.

I have been recommended by my cardiologist to monitor my heart rate. Choosing from various products I picked the Charge HR model as a reasonable price/performance product. And indeed, it fulfills my expectations - plus it has a slim elegant design. Very important! it is comfortable to wear - even during the night (by the way, only the sleeping monitoring outcome is sometimes confusing between time slept and awake). The large wristband is barely sufficient for me - unfortunately the XL is only available directly from Fitbit.

So far, I have loved my FitBit Charge HR. Not only does it keep me accountable for my fitness goals, but it also keeps me motivated to stay on track. Having it on my wrist 24/7 makes it easy to track my progress throughout the day. The FitBit app on my phone, which automatically syncs with my Charge HR, makes it even easier to input my exercise, watch my calories, and even monitor my sleeping patterns. No matter what your fitness desires may be, the Charge HR will definitely be an asset in achieving those goals.

Having been a FitBit Flex owner for almost three years, it was time for me to upgrade. For me, the Charge HR was the next logical choice and having used the device for a month I'm very pleased with my purchase. The added features of a built in clock, heart rate monitor, number of stairs climbed and silent alarm view are great. The only negative is that the charge cable is different than the Flex and the battery hasn't lasted as long as the manufacture states as I'm only getting three to four days of charge.

Picked this up for basic health monitoring about a month ago. Was really looking for something that tracked steps, heart rate, and sleep cycles. This does the trick with minimum human interaction. I use this on a Windows Nokia 920 phone (Fitbit is one of the few who provide a native app) and have been pretty happy with the results. I do occasionally lose the ability to sync and have to restart the phone to bring the capability back but this has only happened twice so far.
