I've become an addict to the number of steps I take...I read my HR to see if I have made progress over a few week period. It's a useful gizmo-and there is a lot it can do when paired with a cell phone....I wish the battery stayed charged for longer.

Great product but strap needs improvement

Great product strap has begun to split. The loophole to maintain the extra strap is very difficult to slide into. This is the only problem I have with the product. It keeps the steps I walk and syncs it to my phone. It keeps the hours I sleep. It helps me stick to my diet and I have lost weight and feel better

The accuracy of this device is really quite incredible. From the steps, to HR, to sleep everything just works. It lasts about 3-4 days of battery for me (though has a proprietary charger). The app works great too... the only problem I've had is it not syncing with the phone app occasionally but it's easy to restart the FitBit and it's good to go.

Given to me as a gift, I love it. I have never used one before so I nothing to compare it too. It seems fairly good and accurate, although 1 day I think it confused me mowing the grass to climbing stairs as it showed I logged 57 flights of stairs when I had probably done just 4. Heart rate readings go up when they should do and down when it should do. Steps look about right.

I purchased the HR Fitbit to help monitor my heart rate and calories burned counter. It also has an LED incoming caller ID readout linked to your smartphone! Wear it to sleep to get an accurate tracking of your sleep patterns and even has a silent vibrating alarm clock mode that I love!

I gave the Fitbit Charge HR to my wife for mother's day (she had been hinting for weeks). It has worked flawlessly and easily from day 1, and she has found it an invaluable help for her to reach her fitness goals and stay motivated. It does many things and does them all well. She's found it very intuitive and easy to use... it even tracks her sleep so she can see trends when she sleeps well or not. We are both 100% satisfied.

I had the Fitbit Flex and decided to trade up. With all the fitness bands on the market, I did some research. For the money and the capabilities it was the best for me. The only downfall I would say is it's not waterproof. But I like that it automatically tracks your sleep without having to press any other buttons and the it also has a watch.

I actually pruchased it for my wife. She used it.mostly but she is not really tech savvy and so i have gained intimate knowledge of this device. As far as what is used for ( hear rate monitor, steps, and notifications) it is great and works very well.....flawless with an iPhone! But when a friend of hers also bought one so they could be frineds and help encourage one another it became more difficult. Her friend has and Android phone and it didnt seem to play as nice. Some da6s it would not sync and then i had to reconnect it by deleting it from the phone and then adding it back as if it were new which made her lose her cumulative steps for the period since the last sync. Fitbit will only allow it to cinnect via its proprietary app and it is a known issue with fitbit and Android.so hopefully they are working on it.

Great for tracking exercise and sleep

This is great for tracking your exercise since it monitors your heart rate and it has been eye opening for my sleep cycle. It's been dead on with the times that I'm awake too because I've looked at the clock and compared that to when it says I was awake. The only con is that it emits a flashing green light, when I wake up at night that is distracting, I have to have it completely flush with my wrist to not see that light.

I like it better than the regular fitbit because of the band strap has a buckle on it. I lost 3 regular fitbits due to the band coming loose. The battery does not last as long but you get warning that it needs charging. I like everything else about it other than I cannot use it swimming and water aerobics so those activities are not monitored. The heart monitor seems to be accurate.

I am very please with the fitbit. it tracks my steps well. its very hard to cheat on the steps. I think its because its gps enabled. the only thing I'm not a fan of is the battery life. for a device this small I would think that the battery life would be more than 3-4 days at most. otherwise I have had no issues and its kinda fun to go against my friends and set fitness goals

I upgraded from a Flex to a Charge HR and the difference has been mind blowing. Just the ability to have a display to quickly check your stats keeps me motivated throughout the day to meet my daily goal. The HR is great benefit and is yet another metric to help motivate workouts and cardio exercise. Only downside is not being able to shower with it like the Flex. Overall, a great investment and worth every penny.

Love it! I especially like the sleep function. Now when I say I didn't sleep well I can really see where the problems are. It easily syncs to the phone and the challenges are great. Easy to get your friends added and it really keeps you motivated. Best step tracker I've used, even more accurate than the step tracker on the iPhone Health app. Plus you don't need to carry your phone with you if you're not using it for GPS.

Only got it a few days ago and so far it's doing a good job, tried to use pedometers in the past and they didn't work but I love all the extras with this one. In fact I am a bit obsessed with the sleep monitoring function. I bought it to motivate me to be more active and becaus I always wondered how far I walk at work. Off to do my last 500 steps to make my 10000 for today.

I love the tap feature. So if you are looking into these fitness watchers, get this one for sure you will be glad you did.

I am very happy with my purchase . Because of it I have been walking more every day and setting my goals higher every time I reach my daily goal. I also like to track my sleeping habits and I learned that I have not been sleeping well and this must be why I lack energy during the day. It is working fine since the day I purchased it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs motivation to do exercises.

    Motivating Device

The Fitbit Charge HR may not motivate everyone as it did me, but I lost 8 lbs my first week using it. I was committed to getting in at least 10,000 steps a day, and as a result of the effort of doing 10,000 steps each day, I found it easier to make healthier food choices. With increased physical activity, and decreased calorie intake, you can understand how I saw results right away. Again, not everyone will be motivated by having their health data, but I definitely was. The Fitbit app has been great and easy to use. The Fitbit itself has been comfortable. The rubber band does make it a little more difficult with tucking my shirt into my pants, and sliding my arm underneath my wife's neck when going to bed at night, because the band catches easy - not a big deal though. My biggest disappointment has been the miscounting of the flights of steps I've taken in a day. The Fitbit has overestimated on many occasions - e.g. reporting that I've done 100 flights of steps when I know I've done nowhere near that. I thought the issue might have occurred due to a low battery, but it still seems like it happens sometimes even with a full charge. The miscount of flights hasn't seemed to affect the calories burned number, so I haven't been too bothered by it. It does do a great job of calculating my steps. On many occasions, I've counted my steps (minimum of 50 steps) and then would stop to see what the Fitbit logged and it was always spot on or within 1 or 2 steps of what I counted. Overall, I'm very happen with the Fitbit Charge HR and would definitely purchase it again.

I loved this Fitbit! I started with the original Fitbit and moved up to the Fitbit Charge HR when I found out it could track my heart rate. I love all of the reporting and I love how user-friendly this gadget is. My only complaint is that I got a couple drips of coffee on the rubber edging of the band and the whole thing peeled off in a month. I'm upgrading to the Charge HR 2, but I'm sad to spend money on another Fitbit after less than 2 years. And I stupidly didn't get the warranty or Geek Squad protection, so I definitely did with the new one. I did notice that the Charge HR 2 has "changeable bands" so I wonder if this was a regular complaint with the Charge HR. At any rate, I love the features and I love how well it worked for me while I had it.
