Great motivation
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Fitbit Charge HR after beginning a new role in my career that requires a lot of sitting at my desk. I spend my breaks walking often with co workers. The Charge HR is very comfortable. The watch like band is very stable and not intrusive. I have an Apple Watch and I used to use the original Nike fuel band. The biggest difference for me with the Fitbit is the App. It really is just top notch. The tracking seems incredibly accurate. And often my co workers will invite me to a challenge. This week we did the work week hustle challenge and although it doesn't seem like much, it's totally motivating. I went back to Best Buy to buy one for my wife but unfortunately Best Buy does not carry the color she wants. Seems weird to me but I'll be purchasing hers off the Fitbit site. Super quality construction and once again I forget I even have it on. Had it over a week and ha e only needed to charge it once. Just buy it.

Great product.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as a late Christmas present a couple of months ago. I was mostly interested in the heart rate monitor and that seems to be pretty accurate. The other things are fairly accurate. Once in a while it misses a flight of stairs. One thing that they could improve is to make the wrist band a little more flexible or curved slightly to fit the wrist.

very helpfull concerning sleep pattern
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I purchased this to see what my heart rate was doing, I found a even better reason to have a fit bit. I now know that my sleep was all messed up... The only problem I had was that for some reason every time I had it on my watch would stop. My husband has the same problem, so we just put it ion the other wrist.

Not too Shabby
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part I really like the HR. It's a huge step up from the flex that I use to have. I like the fact that it doesn't have interchangeable bands because I have friends that have the charge 2 that have lost them when bands came loose. It does everything it says it's going to do, and with relative ease of operation. My only complaint would be the battery life. It states on a full charge which only takes two hours that it will last five days. Mine has never lasted five days on a charge, even brand-new out-of-the-box. If you're using the heart rate monitor and all day sync expect more like three days.. Other than battery I would say it's a great product.

Great Gadget
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great piece of technology in your wrist. Really recommend the HR option for reading your pulse rate, it keeps you inform of your health. I like that it tells you how well you sleep and the time your being active. Its a great way to compete with your friends and stay fit.

Nice for general tracking and motivation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually only buy electronics if I really need them or deem them very useful in my life, but after much research I did determine that this was a useful purchase even though it was over $100. When I purchased my Fitbit Charge HR my primary goal was to track my sleep quality. I had been using Sleep for Android and didn't like that I had to sleep with the phone on the bed next to me and be worried about knocking it off in the middle of the night (which I did a few times). I wanted a wearable that would interact with my sleep app, but Sleep for Android -- while a very detailed and nice app -- doesn't interface with many types of wearables. I checked out FitBit's app and though it is sufficient it doesn't have all the bells and whistles like Sleep for Android has like recording sound bites of me snoring. After getting the Charge HR I found I look at my daily steps and levels more than I do my sleep quality. I also take advantage of the ability to link my FitBit app to MyFitnessPal app so it automatically tracks my steps, autodetects my exercise, and logs them for "bonus" calorie allowance for my day in MyFitnessPal. I'm trying to lose weight and I get motivation from seeing my progress through numbers so the instant reporting of how I'm doing throughout the day is very nice for me to keep me going. I've heard the band on FitBits in general is weak and people lose a lot of bands because they fall off so easily without people knowing, but this Charge HR has a very nice clasp design with a holder with a tooth for the extra band that secures the band very well (and is almost a little of a pain to get off). I don't know the technology that it uses to determine when I take a step or when I got up a level, but I found it is not horribly accurate but good enough for me to get a general idea if I am being active enough or a slug that day. For example, I just took a school bus ride today and logged 400 steps on a one way trip just sitting towards the front of the bus. Whew did I work hard today! However I am impressed with the accuracy it is able to autodetect when I actually fall asleep and wake up. I wear my Charge HR all the time day and night and find I have to charge it every 3 days (not the 5 days as advertised). This was a big decision for me since I haven't worn a watch in over 6 years! While it felt odd to have something on my wrist again it didn't give me a rash. I've gotten used to it and even enjoy being able to tell time and the date again without having to dig in my pocket to look at my phone. The height of the band at the LED area was a bit higher than I was expecting or wanted, but it isn't too bad. It doesn't catch on much and is definitely not as big as the Armitron watches I used to wear way back in the day. I did do an analysis of all the wearables out there and all the wearables that FitBit offers. The Charge HR is the one I liked, because I didn't want a big smart watch, but yet I wanted a good set of health tracking features -- the caller ID is a nice feature too. I read that the Charge HR is going to be discontinued at the end of 2016 and replaced with the model that doesn't have heart rate tracking so I wanted to get this one before they were unavailable. Overall, I think my purchase was worthwhile. I've lost 15 pounds so far -- mostly from calorie counting using MyFitnessPal app -- but every bit of motivation is helpful for me. My kids like it too as they tap on my band throughout the day to see how many steps I've taken. I didn't give it a full 5 stars because of the inaccuracy of the step counting, but it was good enough, and all the other features make it worth while.

Best one Ive seen or used
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It accurately grabs calories burned which i use to control my diet, down 11 lbs since I purchased this a month ago. Occasionally loses heart rate if the band is too low during exercise (so like a stationary bike might be an issue, but an most other activities it works fine)

Fantastic Motivator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this. It's a great motivator. I like that with the push of a button I can see how many steps I've taken, how many beats per minute my heart beats, how many stairs I've climbed, how many calories burned, and how many miles I've walked. Haven't taken my Fitbit Charge HR off since I got it and don't intend to. Highly recommend this device.

I'm in love!!!!!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Fitbit has change me for the better!!!!!!!!! It's very easy to use, easy to set-up and it will make you wanna do more since its on your wrist tracking everything from your steps, heart rate, calories burned and a couple of other features. The only thing I would suggest is taking it off for a while to give your wrist a break from it....

Overall good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to have a Fitbit Flex for 2 years. The battery finally died so I planed to get a new one. Compared to Flex, My Charge HR usually requires to be charged every 3-4 days, and I have to take it off when go to shower, which makes me down. But in overall, it's a good product line so I just stick with Fitbit

Definitely worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Fitbit Charge HR for myself, then bought one for my wife and then for my mother. It is really great to be able to know how many calories I am burning throughout the day. My wife and I thought we were pretty active, but after wearing the fitbit the first few days we were surprised to see that we weren't making the 10,000 steps we thought we were making. Now we are incorporating fitness into our daily lives and making better food choices. The heart rate portion is fantastic. It helps to know when I am in the cardio burn or even my peak heart rates for workouts...it helps me to challenge myself. My mother found that she was actually working too hard shoveling this past winter and learned to take it a little easier. We wear ours all the time, except for charging and showering. It takes a few days to get used to having something on your wrist even while sleeping, but now after using it for a few months, I miss not having it on when I am charging it. I would recommend getting the HR and if you do, purchase it in Large. The small is way too small. I recommend buying this Fitbit if you are a visual person and like to know how many calories you are eating vs burning.... or if you like charts and graphs. It's a lot of fun.

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part, the Fitbit is awesome. I love the sleep tracking feature as well as the goal setting for different things such as exercise and food. Seeing trends in my choices really helps me to make changes where I need to. My least favorite is that I can't use it for swimming activities, but that's ok.

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the Fitbit charge hr. I am always checking my steps, miles, calories burned, etc. I have become more aware of my physical activity and really work at beating my prior week. I haven't used any of the other types of fitness trackers so don't know how it compares but this one is really easy to use and check the stats on my phone.

The Motivator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed something simple and convenient to re-kickstart the coach potato lifestyle. It has worked with 4+ miles of aggressive morning walking 6 days a week and 20+ biking miles on Saturdays. Down 11 pounds in 3 weeks and have seen resting heart rate drop by over 20%. Of course, water, fruit and diet help, too....and others have noticed the change.

Pretty awesome so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had it about three weeks. I love it. Hopefully it will last longer than the jawbone up I had in the past. I love the tracking of steps and calories and heart rate. I've already increased my activity by so much since getting it. Apparently I need constant gratification of my actions. Get it, you'll love it!

I like it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the fact that it not only keeps track of steps but also heart rate, calories, stairs & sleep. The only thing I don't like is that it can't keep track of steps if your arm isn't swinging (think pushing a shopping cart or riding a bike). Other than that, I think it's great. I charge it twice a week.

Really enjoying this. Makes me walk more
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Both my spouse and I purchased bands to try to keep up competitively. Who can reach 10,000 steps first and get a "wrist buzz"? Sometimes I will be walking around in circles in the evening in the house to try to reach the goal. I like this band because it tells steps, it syncs well with my iphone, and shows lots of choices on the band, heart rate-steps for the day. Also monitors sleep, but that can only be viewed on the app. I would recommend charging while in the shower or if you have a car power source, that you recharge while in the car (you are not accumulating steps at that time anyway).

Great Activity/Heart Rate Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very satisfied with my Fitbit HR tracker. My only gripe with this Fitbit is that it is NOT waterproof. I would love to be able to wear it while swimming & bathing, but it is only listed as water resistant. It seems to be very accurate and monitors a variety of activity along with number of floors climbed!

Great activity tracker.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't normally wear anything on my wrist and though this would be a problem however it isn't. I love the feel and fit of my Fitbit. Fitbit makes tracking my activities fun and I really enjoy being able to see my sleep activity. I also have a blast participating in challenges with family and friends. Finally the reporting is super useful.

Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this! Takes the place of a watch, but does so much more. Use the app with this to challenge friends to see who can get the most steps or most miles walked in a week. Gives a good baseline for how active you are and encourages you to get moving more. The only time I take it off is to shower, which is when I charge it too.
