I love the fact that it keeps track of everything for me. My steps, distance traveled, stairs climbed, calories burned, my sleeping patterns, a silent alarm, it has caller ID so I know who calls, and the heart rate monitor is so helpful. This is a great tool for health/fitness accountability!!

I just love my FitBit! It is interesting to see how many steps I can get in a day. It is nice to see my HR. It tracks your sleep activity so you are able to see how much sleep you actually get and how many times you might wake up and not realize it. I would recommend getting one for yourself.

Most of these products help keep you interested in your fitness - this is no different. While the heart rate feature is great, it is also a battery hog. Have to charge this one much more frequently than my old non-HR model. But it's purple - gotta love that :)

It's easy to start using/set up. It seems to track everything well. I wish it showed battery life on the screen because the app doesn't give an accurate reading of battery. I have to charge it every 3-4 days and it doesn't warn you when the battery is low.

If you are looking for a great tool for tracking daily activities look no further. I enjoy my Fitbit plus HR very much. Only downside is it is a little bulky and takes getting used to wearing for sleep monitoring. Could also use a waterproof feature as it is not yet rated to be submerged.

Bought it for the heart rate while exercising since the machine heart rate was often not working. This device works ok if you are not moving and sweating too much. Watch is nice to have as is the caller id that displays for incoming calls. They should tweak the software to scroll a text message... That would be very useful. The double tap works fine to display a preselected value(default is time), but the arm raise or wrist twist to display another value is sporadic. Software works fine on the iPhone... iPad Air never finishes up when pairing the device... The fitbit flex worked fine with both devices. . I also like the alarms you can set in the software to vibrate the watch .... Excellent reminder if you need to do something at a certain time on a certain day. Biggest drawback is charging every other day... That is a pain and I often let it hanging on the charger when leaving the house.

I've had the Flex, Charge, and now the Charge HR. I mainly updated for the heart rate monitoring but I'm not sure its worth the trade off of battery life. I was worried how tight I would have to wear it for the HR function to work - and the watch like clasp bothering me (don't really like to wear watches). The hear rate works well, even if it's somewhat loose on my wrist. People do comment about seeing the green "lights" generated from the heart rate sensor when it's not making a good connection. The clasp hasn't bothered me much except for taking it on and off. I don't wear my fitbit to sleep and take it off every night. The loop that retains the slack has a hook in it and I find it annoying to get band removed so I can take it off. However it is nice this one doesn't "pop off" my wrist unexpectedly like the flex/charge can. Overall I think I like the standard charge best

My husband and I are trying to get healthy and the Fitbit is helping us do just that. We are more conscious of how many steps we are taking each day. Our goal is 10,000 per day. It also monitors your sleep so you know how many hours of sleep you are really getting. Overall great buy!

I had a Garmin before but this one is able to be used through my work program. The addition of the heart rate monitor is great and the tracker itself is great! Best pedometer I have ever owned and it is a great motivator to move. The app works seamlessly with the device and any smartphone.

I had a flex for a few years and it was fine. Never seemed super accurate and it was you basically got what you paid for. The charge HR is awesome. Great size, more accurate and really makes me work to get my steps in. The fact that is kinda doubles as a simple smart watch is also a plus.

Wish you could select continuous HR. When trying to maintain a constant HR you have to keep tapping it for display to come up. Battery doesn't last as long as advertised but probably because I activate the display frequently, especially while in the gym.

This fitbit is very nice. It can monitor your heart beat all the time, even when you are asleep. The heat beat monitor is very accurate. In addition, it can monitor all your activity to let you have a good idea about your activity and the progress on your goals. It's really useful.

Initially I purchased this for my wife. She loved it but quickly began to complain about having to adjust the heartbeat monitor that is not built in on this particular model (chest strap). So I gave it to my daughter and she uses it without the heart rate monitor, and she loves it! She loves tracking her steps and sleep patterns and she's eight, very simple to use even for a child!

It works great. I bought it in Feb 2015 and I can get about 4 days of use off every charge. It seems to accurately track my steps. It doesn't always count a flight of stairs unless your swinging your arms. I do like the weekly email updates it sends so I can see how I've done overall. I enjoy the different badges you earn as well when you accomplish milestones. Overall it's a great product and has made me more conscious of how many steps I'm taking and gets me to try to increase my steps on a daily and weekly basis. It was worth the money I spent to purchase.

Unit tracks movement, food & water intake, exercise & sleep (the primary reason for purchase). Battery life could be better. Had to turn off movement display feature and all day heart rate monitor to get it to an acceptable amount of time between charges.

Took a little effort at first to get the FitBit to sync with the phone app. Had to connect by USB to sync and get software update, then the phone app synced. Battery life is OK at approximately 3-4 days. Continuous heart rate and sleep tracking are plusses.

I had Fitbit products before and loved the easy Internet and myfitnesspal integration, but lost the products and was waiting for a wristband version. The Charge HR was worth the wait. It is simply easy to use and has all of the features I need. It syncs seamlessly with the iPhone so I can monitor my heart rate on the treadmill without looking at the watch. At the same time, I set up the convenient quick tap feature so I can easily check heartrate on the phone. I love challenging and cheering my husband, the competition has kept us walking to achieve our 10000 steps a day. Battery holds out a good 5 days. Not the prettiest but I've been using it everyday for a month and love it to track calories burned against food logged in my Fitness Pal. I'm staying on track and losing weight!

Great tracker but has the tendency to pick up extra hand motions. (Ex:Combing/brushing hair). I wear my CHarge HR daily but I'm a little annoyed with having to charge every two days. Overall it serves it's purpose well and would definitely recommend.

My wife upgraded from the flex to this model. She likes this one much more due to the actual number of steps, heart rate, stairs climbed etc instead of just dots. She's very happy with it. I'm sure I'll be buying the newest model next year as well since we also own the aria scale.

i was skeptical of using something other than my phone for my pedometer and super skeptical of the heart rate monitor but it works well. I'm sad that it's not water proof like the surge but I charge it when I shower so I don't worry about the water damage.
