I really love my Fitbit Charge HR. I have only two complaints. I wish it had a better battery life. I find I have to charge it every 3 to 4 days just to make sure it doesn't run out of battery life. My second complaint is that I wish it was more water proof.

I LOVE my Fitbit! I am a person who works out five days a week, but I had no idea how much energy I was expending and how many steps I took a day. I also didn know how much I was sleeping either. But after using my Fitbit I'm now able to see everything at the touch of a finger!!

Although I haven't used it to it's fullest potential yet, I am happy with what it does. I like keeping track of my heart rate and am amazed at how well it tracks my sleep patterns. Amazing to know how much sleep time I am actually getting...or lacking!

This is my 3rd Fitbit product. I started with the Flex when it was the newest one available and moved on to the Charge when it came out. My Charge fell apart after some abuse but after research I decided that the Charge or Charge HR was the best option for me. I am pleased with the HR. It is more substantial than the basic Charge. I definitely prefer the buckle over the 'snap' that the basic Charge and Flex use. As for the HR monitor, I like the fact that it can be disabled. I only activate it when I am actually interested in knowing what my heart rate is - it's not something that I need to monitor 24/7. I replaced my Flex with the Charge because I wanted the upgrade. The Charge HR wasn't available at the time. I should have waited... The Charge HR is the better option. I'm just hoping that it holds up better than the Charge - with less abuse from me, too.

Have had it for a couple of weeks now and have to say I love it. Love the sleep tracking and hearth monitor. I found is better to have it a little loose and I get a great reading. Battery is decent, longest I have gone without a charge is 2 days and that only lowers it to about 60%.

I bought this for my husband. He is exercising and eating healthier due to a heart attack last year. The Fitbit keeps him aware of his activity level so that he doesn't sit for long periods of time any longer. He is always trying to improve his previous activity records. Thanks!

As silly as it may sound, this gadget will NOT make you lose weight. It does however seem to motivate me (and others) to get out there and move that body. It is a wonderful adjunct to getting onto a healthier path and living a better lifestyle. From a medical provider standpoint, my soapbox as always is to remember always to exercise to the best of your abilities, and watch how much and the quality of your food intake. Otherwise, great product. Battery could be better (4.5 days or so, with auto heart rate.. not constant). Worst part of this product is the plastic screen, scratched 45 min out of the box when bumping it on the kitchen countertop. Be wary of those countertops, they jump.

    From Flex to HR

I recently upgraded from a Fitbit Flex to HR. The Flex served me well and really liked the fact that I could leave it on all the time including showering, but it lacked some of the functionality that the HR provided. I like the HR for a couple reasons, it constantly tracks my HR and calories burned. Another feature that is nice is the caller ID that is displayed. It is nice when our biking or working out to see if I need to take the call or continue to work out where in the past I would have either missed the call or stopped my workout to see who called. Overall, I would recommend the HR. Fitbit customer support is excellent as well.

Waited a long time for my Fitbit Charge HR. Wanted the clock function, but waited for the heart rate monitor. Works fine. Syncs with the app. Simple and trouble free. My only comment is that it needs to be charged every 4 days, not 5 as advertised. Very satisfied with this purchase.

The unit functions as advertised. Great reminder to maintain activity levels. Some nice options for calorie counting as well. I ride a bike for exercise but only the more expensive Surge has the means to monitor biking activity. Heart monitor is of value.

Good tracker, easy to use, like all the tracking features, size small is really small, large is pretty big, wish there was a medium. Sort of bulky when wearing. Wish it was waterproof. Tracks steps when going on a bumpy road, worst thing about it.

Bought this for my wife to upgrade from her flex. She loves this. Way easier to track steps, stairs and heart rate on the Charge HR than the flex. She wears hers all the time and she says it's way better seeing actual numbers on the charge HR rather than a few dots on the flex.

The charge he generates so much motivation I am able to compete w friends across the country, the charge hr does automatic sleep detection which the flex did nt, counts stairs, heart rate and calories. You are able to enter in calories you eat for accurate tracking and portion control.

This is the 2nd one I bought for my husband. Had the FitBit Charge for a week. Hit his wrist on railings, band unlatched & fell in the water & gone. Purchased the FitBit Charge HR since it has a better band. Latches like a regular watch. He likes tracking his activities for the day.

much more accurate than another fitness tracker I tried before. I find the battery runs down a lot quicker than the five days it says it lasts. I wish it was waterproof so I could track while I swim. Great product and it keeps me motivated to keep moving!

Great device. The syncing is fluid to the mobile app and the HR monitor is pretty accurate. Only gripe is the battery life, it last around 2-3 days on a full charge, but does charge fairly quickly so it's not horrible, also LOVE the sleep tracker.

The Charge HR is everything I wanted it to be. I like the heart rate feature much more that I thought I would and competing with friends for step goals is great; it gets me out of my chair at work and extra two to four times a day just to walk around in order to gain steps.

Comfortable tracker. My other half bought one and loved it so much he talked me into getting one. You can read all of the great things it does. It's been rated the best fitness tracker on the market. I love the heartrate function (easier to get an accurate calorie count, which it figures for you). Cons: If you ride a stationary bike (haven't tried an actual bike yet), you can only get a calorie count. It can't do distance or steps unless you put it on your ankle (yes it will still track your heartrate there). I wish the challenges were something other than steps. Example - active minutes, length of exercise, calories burned... I wish I could see more than just steps taken by friends. Another feature that would be useful, have the FitBit vibrate if you reach and excede your suggested heartrate. The Polaris has you set a high and if you reach that, it beeps.

Really glad I upgraded to HR. Love how easy it is to use and the motivation it provides me to get moving. The sleep function has been a real eye opener. No wonder I am so tired. Overall, easy to use and a great tool to monitor physical activity, calorie counts, daily steps, etc.

This is my second Fitbit charge hr. I wore the first one for 6+ months before I finally destroyed it. If it was built a bit more durable I'd still be wearing it. Ultimately I would classify it as normal wear and tear. The battery life is short due to the hr use--the more active you are, the quicker the battery needs to be recharged. At this point I don't see anything better on the market, so I just bought another one. It's not perfect but it does a great job and helps me stay active.
