Works just like I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the way it checks my heart rate and sleep patterns. I really like inputting my food per meal and able to track what I eat. I like that it shows me my calories per meal, but clicking on the nutrition information really helps me keep track of carbs per meal.

Great fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fitbit Charge HR is great for tracking day to day activity (steps, stairs, etc) and also your heart rate. Provides a pretty good reading on your sleep patterns also. Where fitbit got it right is with the iOS app, it's easy to ready and customizable for your needs.

Being More Active
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since purchasing my new Fitbit-Charge HR Heart Rate, I have been more active and look forward to working out and view my progress. I like that this device automatically calculates my sleep, HR, and activity just by wearing the device. I really happy with my purchase.

Love the heart rate feature
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for hubby for monitoring steps, sleep and HR. He finds it comfortable to wear all day and night and loves tracking heart rate changes. Very easy to connect app. Looking forward to figuring out all the rest of the functionality. Also likes the caller ID!

great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.works accurately, if the fitbit app is on auto sync, battery will need to be charged every 2 days. But syncing once a day allows a charge to last 4 days. Need to take off the watch prior to showering, so that gets annoying sometimes

All I expected and more!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a lengthy amount of research and comparisons, I finally decided upon the Fitbit HR. The most important part of a fitness tracker is the accuracy of the step counter, in my opinion. Fitbit HR was found to be the most accurate of all the I had considered. This, along with the stair/floor counter, we're what sold me. Walking and climbing of stairs are a constant at my job, so these features were the most important. While I haven't checked the accuracy of the stair/floor counter, the step counter has been excellent. I do recommend going into the settings and inputting your proper step distance for best accuracy. While the heart rate monitor, (the reason for the "HR" in the name,) wasn't of importance to me, I have found myself using it more than I planned. This is especially so when I place the Fitbit into "exercise mode." This, along with the previously mentioned features, and the automatic sleep monitor, all tie in together nicely with the Fitbit app for my phone. It keeps all the information readily available for a more detailed view of one's results. If you have friends with a Fitbit of any type, you can add them to your list of friends and have friendly challenges. This has added to the fun of using my Fitbit on a weekly basis. Of all the features on the Fitbit HR, the caller notification is of the least use to me. While I had no problems syncing the Fitbit call notification to my phone, I don't receive as many phone calls as I do text messages. When a call comes in, it will vibrate and show the callers name on the screen. The Fitbit Surge, along with some other models, give text notifications, however, I found the Surge a bit too huge for my liking. Some of the other fitness trackers with text notification just weren't noted for their accuracy. I've seen the studies that say at least 39% of fitness tracker, specifically Fitbit, users discontinue use it by the first year. I have yet to become discouraged or failed to find my Fitbit HR to be of great use to me. Having the added benefit of friends with Fitbits, (dare I say other Cultists of Fitbit? LOL) I see myself continuing use for a good while.

Overall this is a great product.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The screen is convenient and the results are very accurate. Not a huge fan of the app (other products have an easier app to use). I wish the product was waterproof, but other than that it is a great product and would recommend to everyone.

Good product but could hold a charge longer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I find the FitBit HR a very solid product that does what it advertises. It tracks movement well, tracks sleep well and keeps pulse reasonably accurately. My only reservation is the charge only lasts 3 days not the 5 days referenced.

Best fitbit yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the fit bit flex and decided to upgrade. I love the extra benefits of this fitbit. It tracks my sleep with no tapping, a watch, tracks your pulse so you know when you are in cardio, fat burn. It links to my smart phone so I have updated info all the time

Great tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Fitbit Flex for a year to see how much liked the Fitbit before upgrading. The Charge HR was on sale during Christmas and I thought that was a good time to upgrade. I love the HR feature and am constantly tracking steps, floors, and HR. Great product!

Exactly what I was looking for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fit bit HR monitors my activity and heart rate, which is exactly what I was looking for. It syncs up easily with my iphone and shows the data in a way that is easy to understand. I would recommend it.

Great idea, poor quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my fitbit 3 weeks, and use it every day. The design seems OK, although with the screen being placed at the top edge of the wristband, when my hand is in its natural position, the screen is pointing away from me - moving the screen an inch downward would put it in the perfect viewing position. Most of the measurements seem accurate when compared to other "sources" of info - eg I compared my exercise heartrate measurements on the fitbit with a polar hr band and they were identical; I know that the walking distance measurement is accurate compared to googlemap distances etc. It is less accurate on other measurements such as number of floors climbed, but I'm not too worried about that. The sleep measurement similarly has a few problems, such as knowing the wake time - eg this morning I woke up 15 minutes before my alarm, but the wake time recorded is when I actually started moving around the room 20 minutes later. Not a big deal. I like the fitbit dashboard and how all the data is recorded and presented. Very easy to use. Ability to effectively track cycling would be a big plus. My main concern is with the "build quality" of the unit. It feels "cheap" out of the box. The screen is very easy to scratch, and when I first put it on, I had a feeling the strap wouldn't last long. Sure enough, 3 weeks in and I am today returning my unit because the strap has split. I expected it to go where the point of the buckle goes through the strap, but it actually sheared at the end where the compression pin fastens the large side of the buckle to the strap. I think I will be looking for a refund for now, and research some of the other options that are out there. Shame.

Better than expected, but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great color and the display color matches well. Manual says about five days but I only get three days max. I guess five days is if you don't use the display. Other than this, I really like the light weight and ease of use.

I am really enjoying it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is so helpful to see how what I eat affects my vitals like sleep and heart rate, ultimately my blood pressure. I am really enjoying my fitbit. I have recommended them to several friends...after several of my friends referred me.

A truly unique assist toward fitness
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Fitbit Charge HR, it is a full featured program, the only reason it doesn't get five stars is because it has three separate applications that do work together but are not identical and not all equal. The browser application from Fitbit.com is indispensable, truly the only way to change some settings, but then the iPhone app is the only way to make some other changes, and the Win10 app is woeful. Very little you can do with that one. But the ability to track absolutely everything consumed is truly outstanding - the amount of preloaded foods is incredible and the ability to add new ones, including ALL the data right off the nutritional label is unprecedented in my experience. The Fitbit itself is excellent too, but I do have a couple quibbles. It does not recognize enough exercises, nor enough exercise machines. One can overcome that, to a degree, by putting it into "exercise" mode before beginning and I do use that feature, but that under counts everything, at least everything tracked by the Tread Climber, HR, miles, calories burned. I think it under counts steps while biking as well, it doesn't get close to the actual mileage, though it will record the time perfectly. Those are really quibbles, not defects, I expect they will improve over time. The little machine is easily the best fitness device I have ever owned. It is incredibly accurate in most things, it is incredibly thorough, and although there is a learning curve, the support team is outstanding and patient. I learned to use it best through the iPhone app and the Browser application. It has enabled me to track precisely things I was only able to estimate previously, not just exercise but food intake, precise percentages of carbs, fats, protein - it is an amazing aid. A secondary reason for getting it was the sleep tracker - that has been very helpful too, a perfect record I can use with my doctor to fix a long standing problem - something I could not "prove" without this device. I expect I will be using this one, or an upgraded model for most of the rest of my life, I'm a month from 67. It is that worthwhile and useful, in my opinion.

Good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took some getting used to, but it is a great product. Not 100% accurate for steps and sleep, but pretty close. Didn't expect it to be completely accurate. I was sitting at my desk, but moving my arm at times, and I magically walked 54 steps. What is does, however, is motivate! I did find it beneficial in that respect and found I was making changes to get in my steps, extra workouts, etc). Note: I did end up taking the HR version back and purchasing the regular Charge. Got a great deal and found that the heartrate monitoring feature was not worth the extra $$$ (for me personally). All-in-all, a good product. Love the fitbit ecosystem and website!

Great tracker with heart rate monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my favorite Fitbit yet. I love how it can be strapped to your arm like a watch. It shows time and my heart rate. Tracks well. It does need to be charged more often than the others but I guess that's to be expected with a continuous heart rate monitor.

Product Ok, Updates poor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the Fitbit style and basic functioning. It does well with measuring steps, distance and heart rate. I'm not sure about accuracy of measuring floors since I've had days showing several floors when I haven't gone outside my one level ranch house. Setup was not too bad. Most aggravating feature phone app keeps showing update needed. When I try updating, I (along with a lot of others online) keep getting UPDATE INCOMPLETE, TRY AGAIN. Product good, customer service poor. I'll probably go back to Garmin next time.

best out there
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it is great. I returned it because I received the apple watch as a gift. not bad but chose to keep it. HR was amazing and I even tried to keep both but it was awkward wearing two things. Used it for over a week with the apple watch and the heart rate thing is fabulous. the app is constantly getting better. the battery life was about a week of constant use.I hate that i had to return it. Tried jawbone 3...that was the biggest piece of $%$^ out there full of sensors but their biggest thing was a once a day heart reading when you woke up....yea....they were all about resting heart rate. The HR tells you that too. I would def recommend HR to others. I would buy one with my applewatch if it dipped to 99$. its really well done. shame fitbit and apple don't play nice...if you don't have a health watch thing get the HR. I have had a fitbit one and they are great the HR was fabulous and still is.
