Overall FITBIT Charge HR works well. It helps me make a effort to keep calorie intake below calorie burn. The ability to scan the bar code of food, works well. Logging food can become tedious. It does not work with Apple Health app

I purchased it to at least start tracking all my movements. It has informed me to where I have increased all my goals such as steps and heart rate. Also try to sleep better and put more effort in to calorie counting since it take account normal everyday burn.

Fitbit Charge is supposed to last up to 5 days. It lasts for two before I need to charge it. It's also supposed to read my call notifications and it doesn't. Though, I do believe this is my phone issue. Other than that its okay. It does record my heart beat, and how many steps I do. I have noticed it does know when I start working out and when I stop. I like that feature. However, the recording of how many steps I take seems incorrect. There was one day I had to do crafts and sat for three hours straight but my arms were constantly moving. My Fitbit Charge said I did 1k steps while I was crafting, however I was sitting the whole time.

Wanted to track my steps and see how well I was actually sleeping. The step tracking can be tricked if you shake your wrist certain ways but for what I was interested in it works fine. Not sure how accurate the sleep information is but it is interesting!

Very good device. Like the tracking capabilities to capture data from the device. Wish it was waterproof. Users manual is needed. Can't figure the friends/messaging system. Really like the HR function. Numbers match equipment @ gym.

I've been wanting to really get on the ball and start losing weight and my friend has the Fitbit Flex and said that it really helped her with keeping track of everything. The Charge HR is great because I can keep an eye on my heart rate as well and make sure that I don't get it too high. The app is easy to use and it was very easy to set up. The only thing about it is the band size isn't as large as I would like it to be. Other than that, it's perfect.

Wish it held a charge longer and that I didn't have to take it off to shower...the band is sort of a pain to take off and put back on all the time. Overall, I love that it's an all-in-one tracker and HR monitor- love it so far!!!

I liked this product so much I got one for my best friend to stay motivated. I like the way goals will indicate when reached and then I can set higher goals. This has a lot of cool bells and whistles. Overall the FitBit HR does what it says it will. I just wish I knew from the unit how much power was available and would stay plugged in properly when charging. There have been several times I thought it had charged but it hadn't - one time the unit was "plugged in" over 5 hours, but when I put it on and left the house it shut down for lack of power. Other than that, I love it(it is why I only gave 4 rather than 5 stars)

I wish the stores carried the XL size. I had a few issues syncing to my iPhone at first. I do like the features with the HR. I wear it 24/7. Good, reliable product. I've convinced several of my gym friends to get on the FITBIT wagon!

The average American walks 5,000 steps a day but it sure is a great feeling when your FitBit notifies you of hitting 10,000 steps and any other 10,000 increment after that. I also love the feature of measuring your sleep patterns.

I love this Fitbit! It allows me to track my activity & adjust accordingly. The HR monitor is a nice feature. It's easy to use & not w hindrance to wear. Syncing with the app lets you customize your fitness goals & the battery life is pretty decent too.

I have used the Nike Fuelband, MisFit Shine, and now also the Fitbit Charge HR. The Fitbit Charge HR is definitely what I've been looking for. I would recommend it over the other two. It's comfortable, tracks accurately, and has the features I wanted. The Bluetooth works well and typically keeps a good connection with my iPhone. I'm pretty active and did get a small scratch on my LCD screen after a couple months, but was able to repair it with a little toothpaste. The battery typically last me 6-7 days of 24hr use. The iOS app has a good interface and displays all the daily data quickly. If your looking for a good activity tracker that's not quite full on smart watch this is a good choice.

I really like this Fitbit. I can track my pulse through out the day and night. I also love keeping track of my sleep and seeing how I slept during the week. Most of all I find the steps tracker keeps me moving during the day.

A lot of people I know have Fitbits, so it's nice to create weekly challenges against each other. HR functionality is good, but definitely impacts the battery life of the band. Band is a little bulky, but relatively durable.

No Coach / Does Not Push (Charge HR)

Does a fairly good/accurate job and tracking steps and calories burned (I guess). I also enjoy the Sleep monitor feature. It does blow the number "floors climbed" out of proportion when driving; one day it registered 56 floors when I drove a short 6 miles. Main reason for purchasing this model was the heart rate monitor, it seems to do a good job, except, occasionally it has problems displaying the bpm during a walk/jog/run. I was also not aware that this model does send a signal to me when I am inactive for an extended period.... hence no coach to "Push" me and get me moving; makes me sad. I suppose it would be too much to ask for everything.

This has reassured me that I am getting enough sleep, plus has motivated me to get healthier. My only complaint is the battery dies not last the full 5 days, and it apparently cannot be connected to both an iPad and an iPhone.

We bought two of these for my teen sons. The blue one broke within the first day of use (band hinge broke off). We were able to exchange it without any issues and to date the new one has been great - accurate and reliable.

excellent fitness watch - keeps time, steps, stairs, heart rate, exercises, sleep, etc. very accurate compared to another pedometer. accurate heart rate to a medical one. really keeps me accountable - plus very easy to wear like a watch and comfortable.
