I like it for tracking my heart rate during workouts and tracking my sleep hours. It is hard to stay within 20 meters of my tablet so they data syncs and I can see it on my graph.

On the surface, the idea and execution is great. The band fits comfortably, the activity tracking works good to great and the software is easy to use. With time though you begin to see the wrinkles... First off, battery life isn't what it says it is. With just about everything turned off you may get the advertised battery life but if you sync it regularly and use the heart rate functionality you will get 1-2 days at most. My biggest gripe though is the heart rate functionality itself. While doing light to somewhat moderate exercise it is fairly accurate. When I go for anything more strenuous than that it is nowhere close. I've read all the advice regarding accuracy, I wear it higher on my arm, not too tight and I keep it clean. At times it won't read anything, other times it's completely off. I do circuit training, and it's not uncommon for my heart rate to stay over 150+ during my cycles, and during these workouts my Fitbit will have me at 85-90 throughout the duration. When doing yoga it seems to be more accurate, but it is prone to losing my heart rate and being off as Well. Considering the heart rate monitoring is the draw of this model it really should be much better than it is. Also all setting are done through smartphone app. Want to turn off heart rate monitoring? Open the app. Turn on Auto sync? Open the app. Syncing to s not super quick either. The ability to turn on and off basic functions should be able to be done on the band itself. If the HR monitoring was better I would strongly recommend. Until then, I'm 50/50

It was super easy to set up and start using. The heart rate tracker and sleep monitor were the most important features for me. The Fitbit app made tracking my exercise activities fun.

I've been trying to get myself motivated to work out everyday. Fitbit is a great motivator. It gives me helpful information about my progress, how I'm improving and even helps with my sleep. Love it.

I purchased it to monitor my heart rate at rest and exercising. I am quite pleased at all that it can do besides monitoring my heart rate. The downloadable app is the bomb. I input my water and food intake. The app shows me how many calories I expended to the calories I intake. This is great for losing weight. I would give it 5 stars but the rubber band slips down my arm from my perspiration when I work out. The only thing I would add to the HR charge is for it to notify me when my heart rate gets too high or too low when exercising. I try to keep my heart rate in the fat burning zone and want to know when I go out of the zone.

For the price, I think this is a great tracker. I love the heart rate feature because it helps me to maintain my target heart rate while exercising. I know if I need to step it up, or back off a little when exercising, which is great. I think it is worth paying the extra for this feature. I have noticed that when I am carrying my one year old or pushing a stroller/grocery cart, it does not count steps accurately, which is kind of a bummer, because I do this a lot throughout the day. Overall it's a great buy.

I received my Fitbit for Christmas and I simply love it. I honestly considered returning it at first because I didn't realize its potential to change my habits! First, I became aware of how little sleep I get. I knew I had poor sleep habits but it is undeniable when it is in black and white. Second thing I love is that I am conscious of how little or how much I walk. On days I haven't gotten in my 10k steps at work I make sure to get them in at home. I also joined my son and daughter and a few friends online and we compete for the number of steps we get daily! I would say the Fitbit has helped me become more aware of my activity level or lack there of which had an overall health benefit for me!

This thing is great! It's very accurate, obviously it's not perfect but none of them are. The heart rate monitor allows you to better calculate how many calories you are burning too. Definitely recommend

I love that I am able to track my calories out as well as in. This feature keeps me on track, and made me so much more aware of what my nutritional needs are. The app is super easy to use on my iPhone. The heart rate monitor is the reason why I chose this product over others. I do not always keep the blue tooth on my phone one to receive messages from my phone. I have a medium frame, and the large size fits my wrist well. I love that it is rechargeable instead of having to replace batteries for my other heart rate monitor. You do have to keep up with it to get maximum benefit. I do not like that the design is limited and does not come in cute colors or patterns. Also, the stair tracking is not always accurate.

My husband and I each bought one of these. I sit at my job all day, and I really wanted to have a better idea how many steps I've taken. My husband was more interested in his amount of sleep since he doesn't sleep well at all. If you use the app, it is very good at showing your sleep/awake times. It is not at all accurate at my step count. I know this because I can be sitting at a table cutting bread for sandwiches , and it will log that I took 1200 steps!! This is a constant issue for me. I know that I don't walk as many steps as it says . I really wish that there was a way to get a more accurate count. Other than that, we love them!

I have had my Fitbit HR now for a little over 4 months. I mainly use it for tracking steps, stairs climbed, sleep, and blood pressure. I like knowing how long I spent in the Cardio Zone each day. **My main concern is the charging port/cable. I have noticed that the only place I can charge it is a USB 3 port on my computer. It will charge on my USB hub, but it doesn't stay charged as long as when I use my computer. Also, the cable I plug into the back of my Fitbit for charging is already having issues. It's not staying in the back of the Fitbit as well, and I sometimes have to jiggle it to get it to register that it's charging.

I needed a way to track my activity level and this met that requirement. Although it doesn't always track my activity 100 percent, it does do a pretty good job. (An example: if you're trying to get your stair quota in for the day, you can't just go up and down the stairs. You have to walk around a little when you are downstairs before you go back up. ) The heart rate monitor can be a little hard to sleep with as it is a light but I found that you can turn it off and on in the settings. All in all, a pretty good device to track your fitness and even get you moving.

I do like the device and all of its features. One thing I don't like is that it bothers me when sleeping with it because of the bump on the back hurts if you sleep on it. Additionally, I don't like that the wrist band does not breathe. Another disappointment is that once you eat a food or recipe it would be nice to be able to SEARCH to see what day you ate that particular combination and enter it again vs. either having to enter all the data and making it world wide searchable, and/or marking it a FAVORITE.

This is my second Fitbit. I haven't fully explored the accuracy of the HR monitor, but like my previous model the step count accuracy is very good. The app has a lot of features that are user friendly and let you get as involved with your tracking as you want to get. The sleep tracking is good but not great and that is why I only did 4 stars. There are moments that I am awake and moving and it will note those as restless sleep. Overall a great fitness watch and now that it has caller id synced to my phone, it makes it so i don't miss any calls when phone is on silent and don't have to pull my phone out to see who is calling.

I've been using this tracker for a little over two weeks now and I must say there isn't much I don't like about it. The heart rate monitoring is great and to be completely honest I haven't had an issue with it at all when trying to compare to my pulse. Overall Pros: Battery life Feel on the wrist (just like a watch) Widget Dashboard online Heart rate monitor accuracy Useful smartphone app Cons: There are a few wonky things in the app that aren't as easy / intuitive as they should be Sleep tracking is not very "deep" TL;DR This is a great fitness tracker and has already helped me lose weight in my two weeks using it. Really not much to complain about here. I would recommend wholeheartedly.
