I bought it because i started going to the gym it is definitely a motivator along and during your day. together with the app its fun going for longer walks now. also challenging your friends with it is great! the only downside is that the battery doesn't last as long as promised. and i heard sometimes the steps are a little off but that was some pros opinion hah i like it though for everyday use also i really like the caller id shown on it and the silent alarm it gives you. definitely a plus at work where u only can have your phone in your pocket and silent so you still wont miss any phone calls

Fitbit works VERY well and extremely accurate as well. I am a heart patient and this device helps track my vitals as well as my exercise workouts too. Would definitely recommend to others.

While I like the product and how it encourages you to be active by setting goals. The some of the fitbit HR's WILL NOT SYNC to your pc, tablet or phone. This makes the product much more limited by not being able to create a historical database or to joining a group of like minded people in a support group. My wife and I both purchased one and mine works fine, hers will not sync on any of her three devices and loses time. This is known problem to Fitbit and for months they have said they are investigating it. I would only recommend the product only after advising a friend of the open issues

I have worn my Fitbit Charge HR every day for over a month now and I have been extremely happy with it. I love that it tracks so many things and that the app is easy to use, while still charting so many elements for you. I use it in conjunction with the Lose It app for food tracking and have had no issues. It has been a very motivational tool for me. I thought it might feel weird or uncomfortable wearing it all the time because I generally don't ever wear watches or bracelets but it has been comfortable and I feel naked without it now.

The idea of tracking my steps and the flights I climb caught my attention. Win! I read a few reviews and I was sold. It's fun. I'm moving more and taking the stairs more. Win! I bought my sister one as well and the challenges began. Win! Since my purchase, I noticed that I'm clocking step when I'm stationary. Boo #1. After having it for a few months, I started having a problem getting it to sync with my iPhone and MacBook. Boo #2. A visit to Fitbit's website revealed the Charge HRs were having issues. In the end, the issues were resolved quickly. Overall, I like it and it's a fun gadget.

I like my fitbit...checking my heart rate, etc. It is comfortable. I would like to have changeable band. Also make sure you dry under the band or a rash can develop.

My wife and I each bought the FitBit Charge HR prior to going on vacation. We loved seeing the number of steps we took and the flights of stairs we climbed throughout our vacation. We also loved competing to see who took more steps each day. I like the sleep tracking feature. As for durability, I accidentally left this on and jumped in the hotel pool one night, so it was submerged for at least a minute prior to my wife reminding me I had it on. There was absolutely no damage and it still works just as if it were brand new. Since I purchased the tracker, the firmware updated and now the clock appears when I turn my wrist to look at the tracker. Excellent feature!

i wanted a watch that would keep up with steps and heart rate mostly for exercise, with my age. It works great and keeps up with heart rate. I take way more steps now with this watch.

This has been a great Fitbit! Love tracking my heart rate and sleeping. Love the caller ID. Just advise to buy a clear screen protector. The glass scratches easily!

I'm new to the whole fitness thing. I had originally purchased the Fitbit Charge HR and was impressed however while it pushed phone calls it did not push texts. The Surge pushes calls and texts. While I'm working I can quickly turn my wrist instead of logging into my phone. It had a little large of a profile for my tastes but I love the step counter, stair counter, heart rate monitor and the sleep monitor. I've learned so much about myself physically and how to improve. I also LOVE the Fitbit app for my phone. Gives me a clear view of calories in/out and what I have left for the rest of the day. As I do more activities the calories allowed is also updated.

The HR is accurate. However, the steps counted are not always believable. I also wish the ability to detach the charging part was available. It has only one color for the armband. Seems like they could have made the 'smart parts' detachable and give us the ability to have some fashionable colors for the armband. Overall, though, I am happy with the purchase. It does what I need it to do and that is motivate me to get up and move and provides historical data for tracking for my doctor.

The only thing I don't like is that the battery life goes fast. It said it would last about 5 days but I have to charge it about every 3 days. Easy to use and syncs with Weight Watchers.

I have used the standard fitbit and the Fitbit charge in the past. The Charge HR is an upgrade to the Charge, which I liked for the detailed information I can get on the screen, sleep tracker and the ability to see incoming phone callers on the watch when connected. What I like most about the Fitbit Charge HR besides the added Heartrate monitor is the strap which is similar to a watch strap. I had problems with prior fitbit straps breaking and knocking the fitbit off while doing yardwork or putting on a backpack. The strap solves all of that and I have had no problems since owning this one. It works great and I recommend it over the other fitbit products.

I bought this to monitor my heartrate and sleeping patterns. I can see all this and so much more on the fitbit phone app. Very impressive app with lots of details! I like that I am able to set what order I want to see time, hr, steps, miles and calories burned, when I hit the button on the fitbit. The plum color with the pink display is classy and modern looking, a nice alternative to the usual black option. I thought it was too big when I first bought it, but you get used to it and actually feel weird when the slight weight of it isn't there. It charges in one hour and lasts about 4 days for me. I would have preferred a different option to clasp it vs. the watch band design, maybe something slimmer. Also, if you work in strong magnetic fields, your alarm vibration option will stop working when you stand next to a 3T MRI scanner. The .7T and 1.5T that I work with hadn't affected that option. I wear it all the time because our Wellness program at work allows us to link to the fitbit to get points and meet criteria for that program. All in all , it's a really good tracker!

Great accuracy in counting steps, calories, flights climbed, and distance traveled. My only complaint with this product is that it asks you to wear it behind the notch on your wrist and that's pretty uncomfortable, I wear it a little differently and the only thing that isn't accurate when I do so is the heart rate measurement. All in all, I think this is one of the best fitness trackers available so far.

I absolutely LOVE it! I ended up giving the large to my husband and purchased a 2nd one in a size small. I'm of medium build, but the watch does need to sit on your wrist above the wrist bone. We both have them and have been logging our food, monitoring exercise and tracking both on our laptop and cell phones. I enjoy the challenges and cheering each other on with the program available. The watch seems to not last a full week for the charge, yet approx. 3.5 to 4.0 days before needing to be recharged. The premium service is way to costly. The wrist band is durable and clicks into place for a secure fit. So far no issues and happy with the purchase.
