I previously had a jawbone up tracker but lost it twice as it fell off my belt,/pocket. The clasp is not secure enought. I purchased the Fitbit - Charge HR Heart Rate and Activity Tracker + Sleep Wristband about a month ago and it is far more accurate with auto sleep tracker. The fitbit interface is far simpler and interactive. Battery life is great. All in All very happy with the purchase.

This product has been perfect for what I bought it for. It is easily read and checked. The black is perfect to wear around in the business office. I now know how many steps it takes back and forth to and from the train and how many more I need to step after I get home. Washable! You can wipe it off after sweating. Love it! Let's me know my heart rate when I need to be working harder or less.

The Charge HR is an improvement over the Charge. I now get info on my heartrates' when walking and running. It hasn't failed yet. After replacing the Charge several times for not syncing, dead battery, and several other issues, I upgraded to the HR.

I was going to get the Charge last winter, but held out for the Charge HR. I am glad I did. The band is much more secure. The app and dashboard website are great. The only drawback I have come across so far is the not being water proof issue. The Charge HR itself is quite accurate when step counting, and as long as the initial setup is done correctly, the distance traveled is pretty spot on.

I really enjoy the product. It is easy to set up with my IPHONE and it sync up with my phone with little assistance from me. My only compliant was it wouldn't hold a charge. I had Best Buy Warranty, I took it back to Best Buy the questions ask were quick at to the point. They replaced it, But the Customer service desk were confused on how to do it, so that took awhile to complete.

Very comfortable fit, provides simplistic one touch button to navigate the display, and a much more in depth app. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to track your daily steps, or more importantly, your heart rate. Tested against other HR tools and seems to be super accurate.

Enjoy being able to see how many steps I have taken and what my heart rate is. I haven't worn a watch for many years so it is difficult to put this on and like it. I do not like the watch band at all. Difficult to fasten. Loop to hold strap down is never where you want it and it seems to slide one way easier than the other. Plus I have never liked a watch band that is not elastic.

This was great for my boyfriend since he'll never read the instructions! It was very intuitive to use and tracks his steps and sleep. Although, I do think the steps needs to be calibrated by individual, since he was reaching twice the steps as I was when we spent days together. My biggest concern is the battery life. It seems he has to charge it every 4 days. Overall, it does it's job.

My 5-Star review is based on how this product performs relative to how it is advertised. I had concern about how a product like this measures your distance walked. I have no idea how it operates, but in comparing known distances of from .7 miles to 4+ miles the Fitbit Charge HR was within about 5% +/- of actual. What is more important (to me anyway) is that it measures the distance consistently. If you want something more accurate, you might want to opt for a device with built-in GPS. While that might be better for some folks it also costs about $100 more and to me is not worth it. What I like is to be able to monitor my relative activity level consistently from one day to the next and this does the trick. My primary physical activity is jogging and walking and this seems to do a good job measuring HR. I have used various HR monitors with chest straps over the years so I have a pretty good idea of what my HR should be based on a given level of exertion and this is definitely in the ballpark. Again, if you want something more accurate, opt for the pure heart monitor with the chest strap. Set-up was a breeze. It paired immediately to my iPhone 5s and I love the information presentation on the dashboard. I charge the device about every 4 days and from a near dead battery to fully charged is, as advertised, about 2 hours. With a device like this, you are giving up a little accuracy for the convenience of a device that is very comfortable to wear round the clock. For me, for daily use, this is a very good trade-off. I am a very satisfied customer..

Previously owned a Garmin Vivosmart that worked well for a year then the display became hard to read along the edges. Switched to Fitbit since it integrates with more partners, like Walgreens. Been using it since Christmas and have no major complaints. HR readings seem accurate. Only downer is battery lasts five days compared to Garmin's seven, but it wasn't a heart rate monitor.
