This portable air condition is perfect for small places like bedroom. But not for living room because it's too huge to make it cool, but still very useful for very hot climate.

I wanted a product to supplement my central air conditioning because I didn't need to cool the whole house, just my bedroom. Easy installation and it does the job as advertised. I was worried about the noise since I am a light sleeper but it just hums, no clicking or clanking like some other products. I set the remote time off function for an hour after I fall asleep and it shuts off automatically without waking me up. Very happy about that. Recommend this product.

This portable AC can make a room comfortable. Granted it needs to be left on for about 15-20 minutes since it's not that powerful but for the price and use - it a good buy

Pretty cheap for portable air conditioner. Not so big or heavy, easy to install. 8000BTU good for cooling one room. Only problem is noise - this is not really quiet model.

This is a great product for emergencies or for those rooms with insufficient central air. The window insert was not as easy as it sounded. We were unable to cut the insert to fit, but we were able to create a workaround. Once the unit was connected, it worked perfectly.

Good amount of cooling for size and price, however, remote is finicky and the exhaust hose is dumb but unit works as advertised. Not meant for large rooms.

I needed an AC for my astronomical observatory in southern Arizona when temps were consistently above 110 degrees. Installed this AC. Really helped.

I have lived in NYC for three years now without an AC. It was brutal. My windows are not normal sized so I couldn't get a traditional AC. I finally broke and bought this unit. I can't compare it to anything else because I don't know anything else. This works wonders for me and I haven't had a bad day with it. It is noisy, I will say. I have to turn it off when I watch a movie or take a phone call, but it's not loud to an annoying degree.

We bought this unit for a room situated over the garage which is usually very hot and hard to cool. This unit does a good job in keeping the room cool.

Kind of loud but does the job, bought 2 of these units one of them makes a weird rattling noise. Plan on returning that one and getting the same model.

Easy to install and quite effective, from day 1. It is not quiet but the noise level is bearable.

Had to cut the slider due to length. They seem to work well. You can feel the cold air from the start. Not sure if it cycles off or continuously on.

This is a FANTASTIC unit. We were living in a small apartment without air conditioning and we were dying in the summers. We bought a swamp cooler and that did NOTHING. We spent a bit more than we'd originally intended and bought this unit and were pleasantly surprised. We turned it on and left the house and came back and it was FREEZING! I would recommend you find a way to secure your window so potential burglars can't get it.

very loud and heavy, its not really portable because you have to set up the hose attachment. The hose attachment keeps falling off and the panel that comes with the air conditioner to install the hose and block off the rest of the window is too big so I cant use it. I wish I would of stuck with my window a/c. You also have to have a hose to empty the water it collects and I live on a 3rd floor apt with no elevator and definitely no hose. Disappointing.

Works great. Keeps room cool. the only drawback is the rear venting system. Using the water draining way off cooling see,d like to much to keep up with.

It works great for a big room. I live in a studio and it gets the whole place cool and chill :) Great price as well!

A little noisey but that’s just what you get for the value. Super easy to install. If I could do it you definitely can.
