This AC is perfect for what I needed it for. Now, I must admit that there was some hesitation. However, once I started to some research and read some of the review's I was like what the heck. This has been a God sent, it keeps my room cool, and I like it because I can set the timer to when I want it to come on and a go off.

Got it for mobility and choice of having it in my bedroom or living room. Bought it took it home and found out that wasn't the case. It's really loud, can't move it towards the room because exhaust hose must be facing straight cant bend the hose. Not to mention the constant draining. It's didn't cool very well.I had to take it back.

I live in south Florida where it's HOT. I bought his unit for my master bedroom to supplement my home's central A/C at night. The room measures 15' by 12' and the unit is used with the bedroom door closed (room isolated). The unit is vented to a window with the exhaust hose extended only 3 feet. Also, the ceiling fan in the room is always on medium speed. With the central A/C set to 74 and this unit at it's coldest setting of 62, the room has NEVER reached a temperature below 67 (determined using a separate thermometer), even when the outside temperature dipped down to 65 and the house temperature to 72. While running, I've never heard the unit cycle, meaning it never reaches the desired temperature and switches to fan only mode. I did test the thermostat function by setting the temperature higher (there is a definite difference in sound when the unit reaches the desired temperature). It does blow cold and strong when standing directly in front of it, but...? I would recommend this unit, but only for a MUCH smaller room, as there should be no problem cooling a 180 sq. ft. (15 X 12) room with a unit that claims a "350 sq. ft. cooling capacity".

Used in a room that we tried the same BTU window unit but the window unit failed miserably. This unit exceeded our every expectation and has done a fantastic job of keeping our PC room cool even when it was 98 degrees outside and did so with little effort.

cools pretty good, but you have too keep up on draining the water from the dehumidifier

Keeps room comfortable not cold. I prefer the delonghi from Sams or Costco It keeps den cold.

This was/ is a great portable ac unit. Had our ac go out over a long holiday weekend and couldn't get someone out to fix it for about 4 days. This ac was able to keep my bedroom cool at night and it was able to cool my living room during the day. It has a remote which added to its convenience. Good buy
