Posted .Hello, Lizzy! Depending on the initial temperature of the room, it may take hours to reach the set point. Air exiting the unit is usually between 17 and 20 degrees lower than the intake air and may not feel cold to the touch until the room temperature is reduced. Way too loud

I had to wear ear plugs the only night I used it. It also did not cool the room down very well and I have a very small room. Returned after one use.
