They both worked great and it got so cold I was in heaven. I live in Florida so it ran constantly but my electric bill was still low. It stopped blowing cold air by September. The filter was cleaned daily. Frigidaire replaced it and now they both stopped blowing cold air. Frigidaire said they'd replace it again but it is so hard to uninstall it so i can return it. There is always blood by the time i get it in the car. I really just want to have one that doesn't fail every 6 months or less.

* Try installing your air conditioner on the shady side of your home/room. A window that faces north is best because it is shaded most of the day.

Does not get as cool as I was led to believe reading other reviews. Condenser rarely kicks on even on lowest temperature setting. I've also tested temperature using the remote and it is not accurate, by about 4-5 degrees. Sadly, returning this unit is not an option, I no longer have the box.
