Garmin Epix Pro 47mm
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Garmin Epix Pro 47mm has been a great watch. I switched over from an Apple Watch because of the battery life and I really wanted to dial in on my health and sleep tracking. I run and train every single day and this watch keeps up. I really like the additional metrics like sleep tracking, VO2 max and all the recommendations the watch gives. It is also more aesthetically pleasing than an Apple Watch if you ask me. I do have a smaller wrist so the different size options is great. I went with the 47mm because I think it looks a little better than the 42. Can’t say enough good things about this watch I’m glad I made the switch. Not to mention it’s extremely durable.

Still a great watch
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For being the 2024 flagship smartwatch model for a short while, it is still a great buy today. This particular watch did get the current health hardware that is in other current watches like Fenix 8, so you do get the EKG function among other things. Being able to customize the watch face with the stock watch faces or other watch faces and get other watch apps thru the Garmin Connect IQ app is great. The 'Connect' app compliments getting the data for your day and being able to see / digest what you have done for the day with health stats. The multiple recording modes for specific activities is quite extensive. And being able to get about 10-11 days of battery life before re-charging is a game winner! It is large for 47mm, but is attractive also. Good either for workouts or a night out.

Amazing gps watch!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best smartwatch/gps/activity tracker -watch I ever owned. The battery life is exceptional, the amoled screen is beautiful and clear. GPS connects fast and does an amazing job tracking my runs and walks. The is rugged and classy at the same time. Menu is easy to navigate and the app provides sufficient data to help me with my daily and nightly goals.

Buy it! Right meow!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had no intentions of buying this watch until my friends told me about it. I’ve had an Apple Watch for as long as they’ve been available. I can assure you the switch was the right move. The problem I was running into was battery life. After 10 miles I was on a low battery and by the time I got to a half marathon, the watch would shut off. I made the switch based on the advice of two close friends that run more often and longer distances than I do, and couldn’t be happier. The watch does everything I need it too, and none of the things I don’t. Excellent battery, life, amazing GPS insight, sleep, insight, etc. Definitely recommend!

perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great watch coming from ultra 2! The Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 are both solid, but they’re made for different vibes. Garmin’s safety features are all about outdoor and fitness activities—stuff like Incident Detection and LiveTrack, plus that LED flashlight is super practical for low-light runs or hikes. It’s perfect if you’re big on training and spending time outdoors. Apple Watch Ultra 2, on the other hand, feels more versatile. The Siren and Emergency SOS are clutch for everyday and emergency use, and Fall Detection works whether you’re working out or just walking around. The Compass Backtrack is great for finding your way on new trails. If you’re hardcore into fitness, Garmin’s the way to go. If you want something that blends into your daily life with adventure-ready safety, Apple’s got you covered. Both are excellent—it just depends on what you’re into.

For Golf, Training and better Battery life.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long time Apple watch user. Switched for better battery life and better experience on golf course. I also like the training/fitness tracking capability. I gave up some Apple domain features but the enhanced golf and fitness applications make it a better choice for me.

Garmin looking with great functions.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Epix Pro Gen 2 is an upgrade to my Fenix 5 that still worked flawlessly. Enjoying the lighter weight and amoled screen. Worried about the lower battery life but not an issue. The flashlight has been a welcome addition and has been used several times Purchased 12/2025 making it a great value.

Epic Garmin
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a Fenix 6 Pro. Some positives from the upgrade: 1. the AMOLED screen is brighter and more colorful than the MIPS. You do sacrifice battery time but to me, it's worth the trade-off in screen quality. 2. Maps come per-loaded. However, golf course and ski maps are not allowed to be deleted for some reason. I don't ski or golf so it's annoying that I can't free up the space for other apps or music files. 3. the bluetooth receiver is 1000x better. On my F6 Pro, my BT headphones would disconnect quite often and the range was so-so. 4. The wrist HR monitor is just as good as my chest based HRM. It's so good that I stopped wearing my chest HRM. 5. The running dynamics are a nice feature. Before, you had to use a Garmin Pro HRM chest strap in order to get running dynamics. Really, no negatives. If I had to mention one, I would say that the buttons are not as tactile as the F6 Pro. But it hasn't been an issue for me now that I have gotten used to it.

Excellent watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great watch if you can find one on sale. My only point of contention is the weight of the beauty. If you are comfortable with slightly heavier gear on your wrist, look no further. I had the 48 mm variant, and it still felt a bit too intrusive to me.

Changed from GW6 Classic
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battery life and accuracy are two of the issues I had with the galaxy watch. I charged during the morning commute daily. There are no issues with that on this watch. Daily battery drop is around 6-7% with gps on for rucking or running. I only miss the dial a little, but having very responsive physical buttons makes up for the loss. It makes more sense how Garmin implemented the touchscreen (ie when to turn off for workouts) and the haptics are effective. Lastly, even though the screen size is almost the same, the epix pro screen is more legible to me. With aging eyes, i found it more difficult to read the screen on the GW6 as the resolution "improved" over time.
