Like the fact that intersections are described and pictured and it gives alerts and can be connected by blue tooth to your smart phone. The built in traffic reports are only given in 4g or strong data areas. We haven’t been able to use it as yet

we bought this for our camper. We are definitely in places with no internet; hence no Google Maps. Garmin just works.

I am very satisfied with the performance of this unit. It allows you to input the dimensions of your vehicle to help keep it from directing you to streets or roads unsuitable for a large vehicle. Also the warnings are very good, sharp curve, railroad track, speed limit change, and going over the speed limit. I have really enjoyed using this unit.

I have this Garmin RV 770 LMT-S in Van, that I am converting into a camper. So far I have just used it locally, but it seems to work well. I really like the size of the screen. I have had one incident where it didn't bring up the business I was looking for, even though it was close by.

While the learning curve is new; figuring out the various features is quite worth the time. It is good to sort out the features before running out with the RV on strange roads. Checking out the features and how they are manipulated before setting out on the open road is sound planning. So far, so good.

This GPS does all that I need for my RV travels. I am sure it will save me thousands by not going under an overpass that is to low for my 5th wheel. I got a great deal from Best Buy and very happy with the transaction.

Yes your phone has GPS, NO it is not good enough for your RV. This GPS device is a godsend. By entering your vehicles dimensions and weight, this GPS system will choose paths that your RV will be able to safely traverse. Low bridges are less of a concern to me now, and I can relax a bit more while driving my family wherever the road takes us. Since I am using this with a wireless brake controller, I need my phone to have that app up while driving, And even tho I have GPS built into my Truck, I prefer the safety features built into this device. NOTE: DO NOT IGNORE LOW BRIDGES. STILL KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN. Know your RV size and make sure any bridges you go under are above your RV height. Stay safe everyone and have fun!

Planning on an extended travel trip to New England, across Canada and to Alaska so I just installed the 770 unit in my RV. So far it responses very quickly. As I had read earlier, the power cable that comes with this unit does not have a Traffic Antenna for travel alerts built into it so I am going to have to buy one. Just hope it works better than the HDMI adapter I got for my iPhone (it didn't work).

We like the features of this gps. The added instructions for turns are very helpful. Finding stops along the route are easier than other units that we have used in the past. We are looking forward to using the campgrounds feature this summer. The only problem we have had is with using voice commands to find locations. The unit does not always recognize what you are saying and can give you some strange results.

We bought this after we bought our 5th wheel. Perfect for travelling with the RV. You put your stats in and it calculates what roads work for you. I like that you can toggle back and forth between having the RV on, or just driving the truck.

Its is easy to use, has two options for a car mode or RV mode. She has both vehicles. She understands well the directions when spoken. She loves also the saved recent route which she can easily access anytime.

We purchased a megellian while on vacation and it only worked for our RV for one trip. The Garmen has worked perfectly.

This RV GPS helps me to avoid back roads with small bridges and low lying overpasses! Making our RV travel safer!

Purchased this to use on our first motorhome trip to Florida. We were replacing an older Tom Tom. It worked pretty well except when we were trying to get to the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola. It got us in the general area but when we got close it had us turn the wrong direction. Then in about a mile it told us that we had reached our destination. I wound up having to find a convenience store and ask a local how to get there.

Traveling with our 5th wheel 13feet in height is much less stressful now that we have the Garmin. And trips are easily set up before our departure date.

So far after one trip it has been a great help. After a few more trips we will make sure it works right for directing away from obstacles

After intense learning and understanding how to configure the GPS, it works good. I really do not think the Bluetooth is needed since everything else has it. All I really wanted was a GPS not a monitor and handsfree phone. It is a good product for an RVer.
