I bought this microwave to replace the exact same model that went bad after only 3 years of service. Since we were happy with the original, I bought the same model because I figured that it would just fit the bracket and holes already there. After all, it’s the same model number only newer, right? Wrong! Everything was different… bracket, holes, etc. I had to do a complete reinstall. Then, the thing is twice as loud as the original one plus the glass in the door has an imperfection (in between the two layers) plus the door is so light and tinny that you’re afraid it’ll fall off. I’m very dissatisfied with this product.

I purchased this microwave about a month ago because it was on sale, but mainly to match my GE oven that I purchased about 3 months ago. It cooks very evenly, and it is simple to work. One issue is that it takes a while to heat up. My last over the oven microwave was 16 years old and it heated food faster than this one. My last issue is that the microwave sticks out farther than the cabinets. It is about 6 inches deeper then my cabinets. I guess this is good if you need a larger microwave, but I don't care for it. Other than that it looks good with the matching oven.

I already had a GE oven and a stand alone microwave I remodeled my kitchen and decided to try the space-saver microwave. Even though the oven was 10 years old, the microwave matches it perfectly. It has many features including settings for heating and cooking. I love the light feature with its two settings. In the evening it illuminates the kitchen and makes it look so cozy.

I purchased this microwave oven as a replacement to the earlier version of this same item because the handle broke off. The oven worked just fine, but the handle has broken off twice before. This time it was completely irreparable. I am a bit concerned with the new oven as it has the same handle. You need to be cautious when opening the door as it is somewhat fragile. When I need to replace the oven for a 3rd time, I will definitely go with one that has a button that pops open the door instead. If you have children or adults in your house with a strong arm, you'll not want this type of handle on your oven.

For under $200, I replaced a 17 year old GE Spacesaver Microwave that no longer worked. LED readout in old unit was going anyway. Good value for a home that I don't want to keep forever.

Needed to replace an older G.E. microwave of the same size and this unit fit perfectly. This unit is louder and has a cheaper feel to it. The door especially feels cheaper. I hope it lasts more than a year based on other reviews. Was cheaper to buy this new one than have the older one serviced. We shall see how long it lasts. It does have one touch features like lots of microwave ovens have. To bad the wall plates are not all standard. Had to remove the old one and install the new one, but luckily the new one came with the microwave. Got the best price from Best Buy online and picked up in store.

I have installed a lot of appliances in custom cabinetry. This unit was one of the quickest and easiest installs I have ever done. Mounting hardware and template made it a breeze to layout the mounts, attach the brackets, and install the unit. What is more it works very nice and has one of the quietest fans I have ever heard on an overhead microwave.

This is an attractive stainless steel microwave. It is easy to install and easy to operate. It is economical and certainly has good workmanship. I would recommend this product.

Negative reviews on several microwaves with vent blowing towards upper cabinets led me to look only at microwaves with the vent above the door. This microwave has the vent over the door, however it still blows up. I would have rather had no vents over door to make the front surface easier to clean. The turntable is not recessed. Express buttons 1-6 - one touch - 1 for one minute...up to 6 for 6 minutes. This one was easy to install. Due to mediocre reviews on all the microwaves, I bought the 5 year service plan. I say, just pick out the one you want and buy the extended service plan. I put way too much emphasis on the reviews.

I replaced my 13 year old GE spacemaker with another GE spacemaker and the installation by Best Buy's contractor was superb (quick, clean and professional) and the product performs exactly as expected.

This microwave was easy to mount and is built solid. Lots of options for specific foods makes cooking common items quick and easy. I would buy another GE microwave.

our microwave broke so we bought this one and it is better than the previous one. was easy to install (we have it hanging) and easy for the family to use

Great price $149 on clearance still in box. The unit looks great, has nice features, but takes 5-6 minutes longer than my older Sharp microwave to boil 4 cups of water. My install was not vented to the outside and I had to take out the blower and turn it 90° without stretching the cable, it's not possible, very tight quarters. The template to drill holes in the cabinet for mounting was very confusing and hard to tack in place to mark the holes, then it didn't line up and I had to drill new holes.

The appliance replaced our older GE micro. Although a much lower price, the door seems "tinny", thin and clumsy. Not a solid, secure feel when closing. It suits a purpose and works fine. Not a model that is extremely impressive. Did notice that there was no "vegetable" setting.

unless you use a shallow vessel , shelf has to be removed to use turn-table. I like the two stage surface light,but I wish it was brighter.

It's a microwave, it makes stuff get hot. The fan is too loud.

Over all the best microwave we've had. I love how much faster it is from our old microwave. The quick buttons like beverage, and potato are great. I think my husbands favorite feature is it has a turntable on and off button. Overall this is a great microwave.

descent microwave, was looking to have more counter space.... the only thing is the fan is extrememly loud

Works great in the space allowed and easy to install and replaced with the same model in another apartment.
