Did the trick, basement had the typical basement smell, didn't want to hang out with the musty smell so I set this up and within hours the room smelled perfect.

This thing is small, quiet, and multiple speeds for easy to adjust for many different sized rooms. I highly recommend!!!

This GermGuardian purifier is truly amazing. We bought it because myself and my cat have allergies. And although my allergies have not been completely taken away, they have decreased significantly. It is very powerful and works great. I would truly recommend this to anyone. One thing I will say is that it blows so hard that a lot of cool air comes out of it. That is something we like, but in the winter time it makes it a bit chilly. Other than that there are no complaints.

I purchased the purifier for my son who lives in a fraternity house on the top floor. It works amazingly and really helps with the overall freshness of the room!

Product works as advertised. Can tell a difference in air quality after the firs 24hrs. Runs quiet.

Overall this unit has weak performance, however it can run very quietly. Filters can be changed easily but the ion unit is very small and therefor cannot clean the air as advertised. In a small bathroom the unit may work but not in a regular size room. I like the blue neon bulb which glows in the dark so you do not bump the unit. I would not recommend this to a friend who needs a good air cleaner.

I suffer from allergies and have two dogs and three cats. Amazingly this purifier gets the stink out of our home and keeps the stink out. Occasionally friends who came over made comments that it smelled like dogs but now I don’t even worry about it because of this awesome air purifier. Also, no weird plastic smell coming from it like some of the reviews had stated. Hopefully it keeps holding up and I stay impressed. (:

We purchased this after evacuating from the Thomas fire in California. The air quality in our house was horrible when we were allowed back. This helped get rid of the smoke smell and made us feel better about being home. The light indicating filter life is helpful and very easy to replace. On high it sounds like a fan is on but not overly noisy. We still keep it running in the room for our daughters afternoon nap.

I live in an older apartment building and I would sometimes notice a cigarette smell in my bedroom coming through the vents. It drove me crazy. I found this online and I purchased it. I turned it on and left the house for a while... when I came back the smell was completely gone. Totally worth it. I’m not sure how good this would be for a large open area like a living room. However, for a bedroom that is probably 150 sq ft it’s perfect.

We bought the Germ Guardian AC4825 as we have a dog with a skin condition that has an odor. The Germ Guardian does seem to help clean the air.

This is a great compact air purifier that works great. Air quality becomes much better now and it's not noisy at all.

Good air filter for smaller area really helps remove odor and like the uv light to help clean as well.

Been using for 5 weeks now at work and am amazed that there is no dust in my office. It's not the quietest machine, but if you can handle a little white noise it's rather comforting. Since using at work I've picked one up for home too. The air feels cleaner and cooler and the lack of dust accumulating makes me happy with my purchase.

I have had this item for a couple of months now and can say it has done its job well. I will leave the air purifier on for a couple of hours and it will get rid of odors in that time. We suffered recently from the effects of Hurricane Harvey and this machine has helped us in cleaning the air in our home. Planning on purchasing a second one in the near future.

The unit is quit yet powerfull. I use it every night in a room with the door closed.

My daughter with allergies wanted this for her bedroom. It’s quiet (on low) and works well.

I bought 2 of these. One for each kids room. They have allergies, and many mornings they would wake up sneezing. There are many allergens outside from trees and all where we live. Since we have put these in their rooms the sneezing occurrences have gone down big time. overall their allergy symptoms seem to have lessened. So I have to attribute this to these little machines. I got one for my mom too. I hope it helps her.

Air is fresher, and the product runs reasonably quietly, especially at lower speeds.

I am very happy with my purchase it's quiet and definitely takes out the odors of two big size dogs.

Quality, is the best way to describe this unit. It's quite and well built. The UV bulb adds additional filtration. Most other air purifiers make too much noise and are built poorly.
