It will filter the air, but the filters need replaced often, are expensive, and are online-order-only when it comes to best buy.

I'm in an apartment building and my downstairs neighbors chain smoke. I was starting to get some of the smoke on my apartment. I quit smoking 3 years ago, so having even a minor amount of smoke smell was troubling. I set the air purifier in my bedroom and within a day or two the smoke smell was gone

I turned it on and kept it on for 3~4 days and it stopped working. I couldn't get it to turn on again for a while but after returning from work, I got it to turn back on. From then on, I only keep it on overnight as I sleep and turn it off when I head for the office. I guess it is not intended for 24/7 operation. However I feel that the air became more fresh and less dust in my room... could be a placebo but still good to have something that takes care of the air that I breathe overnight, everyday.

It's our bedroom filter in our 235 yr old farmhouse. We have a large Honeywell downstairs in living/dining room area and this one up stairs. Controls dust, mold, and pollen from all our fields!!

This works wonders. I bought this last summer when we were caked in smoke from all the fires. This is the only reason we didn’t get super sick. We had it running all day and night to help filter out the air. It kept the hair cristal clear. We did have to buy another one for the living room and used the first for the bedroom. We continue to use it nightly as we sleep to help us from getting congested.

I purchased the GermGuardian - 161 Sq. Ft Air Purifier - Black for my basement. It is a great buy. The purifier is working great. It is a good buy. The color is nice and elegant. I recommend the brand as well. You only need to change the pad of filtering once or twice a year I guess. Good Buy!
