the room amplifies every noise except voices so it makes noise an issue, not the fault of the product, now if only the UV lamp was big enough to also catch the bottom half of the unit's air intake too, the product page led me to believe that i was buying the model with the larger UV lamp which is dissapointing, removes all the garbage that my PC would otherwise pile up inside the vents

I purchased this purifier to help elimiate the allergens in my bedroom, specifically cat dander. After using it for the past few weeks, I've noticed a marked difference in my breathing. It's a lot easier to breath in the morning and I feel like I'm sleeping better!

Spring and summer are always allergies and sniffles season. We wanted to get a jump on fighting that by providing some additional filtering of the air in our house, especially the bedroom. This unit does the trick for under $100. It's compact, has a hepa filter, UV-c for bacteria and odor control. Lots of features for little dollars. Perfect for a small room like a bedroom (not a large living area).

Works as I had hoped it would. Don't know how long it will last between filter changes but it sure has filtered the dust from my bedroom. I live in the country and my furnace filters just don't seem to keep the air clean. Plugged this unit in in the morning and could really tell the difference that night.

Very quiet and I feel it helps eliminate odors. Recommended

Allergist recommended an air purifier. I had been having trouble breathing and had a scratchy throat and after a night full of coughing and lack of sleep I went to Best Buy and bought this unit. Amazing, worked immediately. One of the best investments I've made in healthy living.

I have this filtration system in my bedroom. I have several allergies including to dust mites and mold. I use to have trouble sleeping at night due to congestion, but since I bought this a year ago, I have had great sleep. It indicates when filter needs to be changed or back filter needs to be cleaned, so I always know I'm covered

It's fine. Nice and quiet. After almost 2 years, It's still running fine. I was never able to tell a difference in the air quality. But I don't think that's unusual unless you had really poor air quality to begin with. Lasts a long time between filter changes, and changing the filter is pretty simple.

Bought this purifier because my home's of the open floor plan. Neutralizes cooking and pet odor quickly. Only complaint is the noise when on highest setting but not a big deal.

I could instantly tell a difference in the air quality of the basement and it also circulates air really well. I dont know that the UV light thing works but if it does thats great.

Purchased this product for my office which is carpeted. I have 4 dogs and a partner with severe allergies. This product has made a significant difference. It has 3 settings. We frequent the first because it's more quiet while watching tv but if we're just working we'll use the higher setting. Definitely works for a small space however I wouldn't recommend for larger spaces.

Makes the air cleaner, and since we have pets it helps get rid of the smell

I purchased a Germguardian in August because of the smoke from summer fires creating breathing problems. I have a whole house filter on my furnace, but it was not enough. I put the Germguardian in my bedroom--it really does the job. It has been running 24/7 since Aug. 10th. I may buy another one for my living room.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quite it works...kids and I no longer suffer at night due to allergies. The air purifier is great and we are all more comfortable now.

I bought this to help "unstinkify" my teenage son's bedroom. It has helped but he is a 16 year old football player so it would have taken a miracle to completely eliminate the odors emanating from that room! The price was pretty reasonable and the noise level isn't too bad. Over all I'm happy with the product.
