I watch this movie with my grandchildren when I go on vacation to visit them. We eat popcorn and doritos., they just love this time.

Really funny. Two "Saturday Night Live" regulars and a star from "Mike & Molly" with two others really pack loads of fun.

It is a good as previous Ghostbusters movies. I could watch this movie over and over again.

I'll admit, when I first heard they were making a new Ghostbusters movie with an all-female cast I was skeptical. When I found out that it wasn't going to be a sequel, but a reboot, I was dead-set against seeing this movie. My daughter convinced me to watch it and I am very glad she did. It was extremely funny and a very well done movie. The story was excellent and the cast did a great job. There also were a lot of reference to the original movies There were cameos of most of the original characters from the classic movies, including Slimer. I still would have rather seen this be a sequel to the originals, but it does stand up well on its own. I am hoping they make a sequel.

People need to stop comparing this movie to the original cast version. This is a different universe where the ladies of comedy came up with the technology to battle ghosts. Although, unlike the original, they do seem to eradicate more ghosts than capture. It does drag on in a few parts and it is obvious Thor is on-hand for the ladies watching as eye candy. I also saw this movie in theaters and the jump scares were ruined by a banshee sitting behind me to my left screeching in my ear. From home the movie and its fourth wall breaking effects were rather enjoyed.

Cannot for the life of me figure out why so many people felt so much animosity towards this film. It's so entertaining and Kate McKinnon is officially my new girl crush, although they are all insanely funny. This movie pays homage to the original films in such an amazing way, without overstepping any bounds, and is still original and creative all by itself. Most of the original actors make cameos, which should show how much everyone approved. If you're interested at all, just pick it up and watch it with an open mind. The ladies are incredible, Chris Hemsworth is ridiculous in a great way, it's nostalgic without overcompensating, and entirely hilarious. My husband loved it as well, and we have watched it multiple times.

On its own, it's a funny movie , not necessarily a "chick flick" because of its cast. Just do not try to compare it to the original. That would be a disservice to any of its genre. That being said, I did enjoy it and Kate steals all of her scenes as a hot female geek. The homages made to the original cast are well done and demand that you pay attention. Classical escapist entertainment

I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. Although, I didn't have high hopes to begin with, I actually enjoyed Ghostbusters. It was funny and I got a kick out of an all-girl team, with "Thor" as the eye-candy. I found it enjoyable. I think adults as well as kids would find this entertaining.

The original male-cast Ghostbuster films are so ingrained in our minds that it is difficult to move forward to the new female-cast version; however, the role-reversal idea is carried out well, especially with the dumb male secretary character. All-in-all, a fun evening's entertainment.

I wasn't sure at first if I wanted to see this movie since I am a fan of the original ones. But after seeing it, I knew I had to have it. It is such a fun movie for the whole family. We have watched it several times now and still love it. If you look at this movie as if it was a new never seen before one, you will love it as well. It is very well made and fun for all.

Do not watch this if you are going to compare it to the 1st Ghost Busters. This movie stands on its own. We really enjoyed it. It is funny and a couple of the characters from the 1st ghost busters make an appearances. We were pleasantly surprised.

So many people bashed this movie but I loved the remake and new spin on it. I kind of wish Kristen Wiig’s character was a little nerdier but I guess it worked better for this dynamic. Still pretty funny. Ending could have been better.

I was hoping that this one would be funny and not so into the incantations and under world education as the other Ghostbusters delivered. And I was delighted to see the fun (and though the reverse on the male being the ooed and awed over was silly) build and have a awesome dance of iteration that was fun to watch play out. Wahoo.

Although many people called this movie one of the worst things made, I disagree this version of Ghostbusters was pretty good. The special effect were great and the comedy was there. I really enjoyed this was not disappointed.

Not sure how many times we have seen it but definitely a fan fav in our household. The girls version is hilarious and I love that they brought back cameos of the original Ghostbusters cast including Egon as a bust. I wish they would make a second one. As we have burned through the originals movies and the cartoon version.

I liked the new Ghostbusters. I think the best favor you can do for yourself while watching this is to try not to compare it so hard to the originals. It doesn't top the old ones, but it's enjoyable for what it is.

Our DVD arrived quickly and in perfect condition. We watched the movie and all the technical aspects seemed to be of high quality. As far as the movie itself, we thought it was great....as good or better than the original Ghostbusters. And we loved the original Ghostbusters!

It was a nice change from the proceeding movies, but took a little getting used to at first. The actors made this movie interesting to watch and I would rate it as good as the first ones.
