Looks amazing. The Ghisbusters never looked so good.

As a film enthusiast- I was very excited for the release of Ghostbusters in a new Steelbook package. The previous release of this film in Steelbook form, was a very uninspired release of just the standard logo of the franchise... And while the film itself is a beautiful accomplishment and work of collaboration between many comedians at the height of their careers- an uninspired Steelbook is a deal-breaker. That being said- upon hearing that this new Steelbook release was to receive artwork exclusively crafted by Dan Mumford- I was very excited to see what was to come. It is safe to say, that I was not disappointed. This new release of this classic has a gorgeous Art Deco appropriate for the creative style and color of the film itself. The promotional photos also do not do this release Justice, as the glossy sheen of the green and blue "pop" in the most incredible ways... If you're a Steelbook collector- then this is the perfect release to add a splash of color and creativity to your collection.

I have loved this movie from the day it came out and now in a beautiful steelbook package with digital for under 20 bucks can't beat it....

this movie is hilarious, quotable and a classic. it makes a great gift for any movie fan that grew up in the eighties or later.

I don't think anything needs to be said about such an amazing, classic movie. Beautiful artwork on the packing. There's a new 35th Anniversary double movie release so if you are interested just pick that one up instead.

the picture is grainy but that is because the movie is over 30 years old and shot on 35mm film. If you expect a crystal clear picture, you will be disappointed.

Movie: It's Ghostbusters. If you need a review of this classic by now, might want to stream it somewhere before blind buying. It's still funny with minimal poor aging to the humor, all while actually feeling like there's weight to the conflict. Disc: Here's where this might get spicy. It doesn't really look super amazing. I remember seeing this movie on tv all the time and watching the DVD growing up. The difference between the DVD and the TV was huge at the time! The DVD and this? Eh. It looks good sure, but it looks like it's more an upscale at some points than a truly new scan. The Steelbook art is too good to pass up for the slip cover 4k, but I wouldn't be shocked if the 4k version looks leagues better. Seelbook: So this is just so nice. The pictures online don't do it enough justice. The combo of matte finish and gloss for the ghost just make the ghost pop that much more. The artwork itself is great to see and I wish I had a poster of it sometimes.

This movie 1984 with Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson and Rick Morranis, an excellent cast in a nostalgic movie! The lines, the action, made several of this franchise because this instant must own classic! Ghostbusters II brought back the cast, but not nearly as good as the original, but this one I have watched close to a hundred times growing up! Excellent movie! I was sad to see the 2016 movie, and to see original cast so little and the story and movie lines stunk! I can hardly wait until the new Ghostbusters comes out, more of the original cast that are alive. I miss Harold Ramis. R.I.P. Harold.
