Ghostbusters is lightning in a bottle. This will always be one of the best movies of the 80s. Ghosts, comedy, and social commentary. Avoid every other Ghostbusters movie, the first one is all you need.

This movie is excellent on this version. I have seen VHS, DVD, BLU-RAY, and now 4K. The best way to watch this with the best audio is 4K its the right amount of the audio that you want and the color is deep and accurate. Yes there is some grain, but given that the film is over 23 years old its a great addition to the 4K set.

I needed to watch this before watching Ghostbusters afterlife (currently 21 years old) and boy am I glad I did. The quality was definitely up to 4K standards ! Clear as day and just overall a hilarious classic!

Have seen this movie, at least 7-8 times over the yeas, so had to buy it again, now in 4K High Def/BluRay. Enjoyed it al over again, in much better color and sharpness. Really happy with what they are now doing with the re-mastering older Movies into 4K BluRay.

Great classic comedy movie! Perfect timing with sale and the online order had fast delivery. Discounted price when purchasing 3 movies from a select group of movies. Allowed me to get the second in the sequel and another movie we had wanted with digital copy.

This was another good movie like I said in my previous review I bought a whole Ghostbusters collection and my kids enjoy watching the ghost buster so thanks to Best Buy for having a Ghostbusters movie for us

Finally a better viewing experience in 4K! Prior releases on DVD and Blu-ray never got the picture quality right for this classic. Now in 4K you can finally see how this movie is meant to be seen.

A true classic never gets old and this 4K Ultra HD version of Ghostbusters is a must own. The picture and sounds are fantastic and quite the upgrade. You want to add this to your movie collection today!

I have watched this movie several times in my life and I love it. The 4k mastered copy playing on my Sony 4k tv though easily takes 10 years off the movie. It looks so much richer and more vibrant than ive ever seen it.

This is a cult classic that just does not get old at all! Funny film, good acting, good story line, and just worth the cost! The steel book looks even better in person!

This without doubt is one of the coolest looking steelbooks I own. The art design is fantastic. At the time I bought this it was very decently priced, and it included a free ticket for the new Ghostbusters movie, making this steelbook a fantastic value. I don't have to comment on the movie itself. It's a classic!

One of my favorite movies from the 80s for sure. Practical effects are always the best way to make a film if possible. The 4k transfer is really good.

This many years later there's no real question whether the film is a classic...it is, and deservedly so. And was a perfect candidate for this modern popart steelbook. An eye catching, and fan pleasing design gives fun homage to the film and a classic scene. A perfect addition to any fans steelbook collection.

Ghostbusters is still a wonderful movie and has held up very well, I think. I got the 4K and Blu-ray version. I don’t have a 4K TV or 4K DVD player yet, but when I finally do, I’ll be ready to go.

Nothing like the real thang! Great movies and music transcend time and space. Lots of excellent comedies from the 1970’s and 80’s that will never grow old!

If you like Ghostbusters this is worth the upgrade. This is the best this movie has ever looked. I don't remember it looking this good in theaters. Good fine detail and HDR really make the colors more realistic than ever. The sound quality is nice too. Although minimal overhead effects with the Atmos.

Three major comedians an unknown ( Ernie Hudson) and the heroine from Aliens in a movie about catching monsters. Let's not forget Annie Potts as the executive answer girl. Bad government guys lock up the Ghostbusters only to have the Mayor turn them loose on New York. Ghost busters II is even better ( highly unusual for sequels).

This was a good debut for Ghostbusters on Blu-ray. Sony brings us good video and audio quality on this release - but I recommend getting the 'Mastered in 4K' or the 4K + Blu-ray release instead since it looks and sounds much better and is more identical to the theatrical release. There's a sale on this Blu-ray every so often, so I recommend it.

I remember when this first came out in the 80s and I thought it was groundbreaking. A great story with beautiful special effects (for the time but they still hold up pretty good). A must have for the collection

It's a great movie, and unlike a lot of 4K releases, it's actually true 4K. Most 4K releases are just upscaled from 4K, especially if they have a lot of CGI, but this bucks the trend!
