Great to have for trips and TV's with no cable, even TV's with cable when you want to watch those downloaded movies.

this is actually the second chromecast I bought! I use plex for my media and I believe that I get better quality with chromecast than the app built into my tv. I can hands down say it works better than the YouTube app built into my tv. so many uses to list. if your on the fence about getting one... do it, at $30 you can't lose!

go to youtube and do some research on what exactly it does. it does a great job of doing what it promises it will do.

The chromecast is very easy to setup and to use. With more and more apps letting you cast to makes this device worth every penny.

Chromecast never disappoit! It functions as the spec and so easy to use. I get rid of all hdmi cable to mioor my mac and iphone!

Product does what it says. Plugged into TV and away you went. Followed steps to get it setup. We used in our RV over X-mas break.

Chromecast is an awesome utility device. It turned my 6 year old LCD tv into a smart tv. I can just stream YouTube, Netflix, Amazon videos from my phone directly to my TV without needing a laptop. Use this product almost daily. I don't have cable so all the TV I watch is with this Chromecast device.

The Chromecast works flawlessly. Once you hand off the video to Chromecast, you can use your casting device without worry that you will impact the stream, unlike airplaying from an ipad to an AppleTV. And this can be hooked up to a receiver, unlike the 4K version which need to go directly into the TV. Highly recommended.

I have recently received a Google Pixel phone and Google Home device which work well with each other. Casting from my phone is simple and easy within the phone to the Chromecast. Everything connected works with any lag. If I tell my Home device what I want to watch on my TV it will send it within seconds. Same for my Pixel phone, if I want to watch any of apps on my TV it will cast it on my screen in no time.

Works great as expected, love the new design. I would highly recommend this if you want to turn you TV into a streaming device.

Chromecast is the best for TV. We have SmartTVs and I prefer using the Chromecast over the buildin SmartTV. It is so easy to use.
