The Chromecast works pretty smooth with most streaming apps. The voice commands with the Google home work fairly well once you know what commands to say.

I love my Chromecast, I have three of them in the house. They allow you to stream Netflix, HBO Go or many other streaming services to your older TVs that do not have that capability. It is very easy to hook up, just ensure your WiFi is on, plug the Chromecast in and follow the instructions on your phone or tablet app.

I was looking for a device to stream from my phone to my new LG SmartTV. There are just times where the content is on my phone but I want to see it in on a bigger screen. Chromecast does just that. Super easy to install, super easy to use, great picture and sound, no jitter or dropouts. It was everything I wanted it to be.

I bought an Amazon Fire Stick some months back and was disappointed to learn that I could not access a lot of things due to not being an Amazon Prime member. I got the Chromecast and love it! Anything I can get on my browser is easily "cast" upon any hdmi-equipped tv. It isn't flashy, but does what it is advertised to do.

It's an awesome device that allows my family and I to stream movies from our cell phone and laptop devices to my SMART TV.

With the Google Chromecast you get a good device for the proce. That said i wouldn't pay anymore than the listed price. The device has limited uses and the software operating the device needs work, as does the Google Home app. We use this device frequently with Android and Apple devices and have had it lock up on several occasions since purchasing this device last month. That said for the money if you want to stream YouTube videos this device will do the job fine.

I used the chromecast generation 1 and I have had troubles in the past with it disconnecting and losing signal. This completely fixed all those problems. The gen. 2 chromecast is great, set up is easier and more enjoyable. Great animations on our phone and the device really does run faster. Would recommend to anybody.

In my home we have a few gaming consoles so I can get pretty much what I need. One died in the bedroom and I always been curious so I bought one. Set was pretty easy, I found I needed to up my Internet to really use it effectively. I was 6meg down and 1 up, and it didn't work that great. I changed it to 18 down and 3up and it works like a charm. Nice to have just about all my phone or tablet features on the big screen. That is really the difference between this and roku. Roku is a very simple device and I like that for my mother who is not tech inclined. This I think u have to a bit more understanding of tech.

Chromecast works great good value. Newer design than my original purchased a while ago. East setup and I use it with my android phone and windows pc with chrome browser.

Easy to stream Netflix app and Youtube on your phone. Small size fits behind the TV neatly. Can use to travel. Anything on your phone can be mirrored on the TV screen. It was useful to see even photos and videos I had on my phone easily done. To use you will need a TV with HDMI in a range of good WIFI. Good purchase!

I had a tv with chromecast built in. This feature makes watching streaming media a breeze. You can pull up media on your phone or tablet and with a push of a button display on your tv. This chromecast device allows you to have this ability on any tv. Got this for our second tv in the home and love it!

Easy to set up and works great! Took it out of the box, set it up in 5 mins and it start working right away!

I hooked this up behind my TV but it had trouble getting a wireless signal, until I hung it below the TV to get a better signal. The initial connection process was fairly easy to complete, which was nice. But the video casting didn't look that good when viewing an internet browser, such as when scrolling or viewing moving ads. Honestly, after using it a bit I'm not sure it was worth the purchase. My Bluray player and/or DVR works so much better that this product.

I really like the new Google Chromecast. Very easy to use and set up. Great timing for the college basketball tournament!
