The Google Chromecast is a neat device. As advertised, it has its native apps such as Netflix and more. My favorite feature though is the screen mirror. This allows you to put your entire phone screen onto your TV, therefore any apps, games, browser etc, will be on the TV. Great for playing games and watching slide shows or videos. Lag is very minimal but there. Set up is very easy.

We encountered problems connecting to Amazon Prime, but after connecting the Chromecast to the home network via ethernet, we are able to watch tv shows and movies without any lag or picture problems. We use a desktop computer to cast.

I liked the original, but sometimes getting that HDMI to connect to a TV in a bad placement like flush with the wall was a bit of an issue. Especially if you ever lost the Extension cable. I had a tv that required you to plug the HDMI connector flush with the back of the TV instead of the bottom or side of the TV. without the extension cable on the old chromecast you're out of luck, this one fixes that and also the device seems better crafted than the previous.

Chromecast is an easy to use program watching tool. They have updated it to work with high speed internet. Easily setup. Could use some better instructions.

This is my second Chromecast. I bought another one for the movie room. Very useful and fun to use.

Great for simple use and for those who don't watch tv enough to need at pay for cable or satellite

Awesome prodict... I love it....my daughter loves to see the videos and mimic the moves...I recommend this too anyone who wants to have fun with there child

I bought it as a compliment for a small 23 inch insignia TV. In my opinion, a good smart TV works better, how ever, if you already have a TV without internet connectivitiy, this is an excellen option. My only complaint is that after several days without use (been all time plugged to power and HDMI port) the device seems to be off line, so I need to phisically restart it.

We bought this Chromecast to use for streaming with our Samsung TV and it worked perfect right put of the box.

I picked up this device in order to give a presentation later that day. I had used AppleTV before, but it was finicky with the WiFi in this presentation space. This Google product was easy out of the box set-up. Simply plug the HDMI into the projector and the AC to the plug. Log on with the Chrome App and enter a code. It took less than 2 minutes and I was up and running.

I remember buying my first chromecast. Read a random article in 2013 talking about them and how cheap they were, I thought shoot, there is no way, how did they read my mind. Let me buy this thing. Little did I know this was going to change my life as I knew it. I ended up being one of the first purchasers, got my device in days and from then on the device was out of stock for months, I felt so lucky! I could control everything from my phone, I no longer had to figure out a way to plug in my laptop (before HDMI was the thing on laptops) and I could do everything from my couch just by playing on the phone I was already playing on with a breeze and no glitches, AMAZING!! I have since purchased about a good dozen of these for my family and friends, everyone loves this thing. I do still have my original chromecast (it's now my travel buddy) and will probably buy more to make sure everyone I know has one (little do they know it makes it easy for me to take control of their TV LOL) DON'T HESITATE, BUY!!!

Google chrome-cast is the best . I watch all my tv shows , listen music and lot more . Say goodbye to cable ...

I love using my Chromecast to stream shows from my phone onto my tv. It was so easy to setup and use. This is my second Chromecast purchase so I now have one in two rooms in my house and they both work great. This updated Chromecast works better than my original one and there's hardly any lag at all.

Amazing for the price. Super convenient. Only down side it is gets hot.

This is my 3rd Chrome Cast. I purchased two last year. I had to buy the upgraded one. It is faster and sleeker.

Love this product. We had one in the living room and we needed one for the bedroom. So easy to install and use.

This Chromecast is awesome! It works well. I was skeptical at first about the purchase but it is well worth it.

I love the chromecast and the features just keep getting better. I bought several of these this holiday season but one or two of them seemed to have an issue finding a wireless network and I exchanged them. After that however I was gold. The only feature I have yet to figure out how to use it direct wifi cast, that is where you cast direct from your phone without a external router. Once I figure that out then this will pretty much replace all my other devices.

Just had to plug it in, load the App into the phone and Netflix popped right up. Works flawlessly!
