Easy to hook up and great to play your videos, Netflix, Etc., on different non-smart TVs

This is th second one I get.. love the first one I got so decided to buy of my parents..

Works so well. Very happy to buy it. I use it to play YouTube from Ipad. Simple and easy to use and the price is right. Love it.

Within minutes I was up and running. I love that you can watch just about any video you find online.

Just what I needed to turn my HD flat screen tv into a smart tv!

I bought this to stream content on my bedroom TV, which doesn't have a TV box in it. I can stream from my phone or computer's internet for things like Netflix or other embedded video apps. What is does NOT do is stream directly from my computer's video/music files, like DLNA. You have to download a server, like Plex, to play them. In this way, sometimes it takes a minute for the quality to catch up. Also, the quality of desktop cloning is not very good. For $35 it's a great deal (even better than I only had to use BestBuy points for it).

I always enjoyed watching Netflix. Since I wanted to upgrade my viewing experience , I have an old blue ray player with poor resolution, My options are buy a smart TV or a new blue ray player. After reviewing the google chromecast and with the bundle price that comes with an indoor antenna coupled with my rewards points, it only cost me $10.00. Easy to install and met all my expectations with clear HD quality that complimented my LED TV.

This is my second, CHROME...I am really happy with this one also..I highly recommend this CHROME 2...

Set up was a breeze with the on-screen instructions. There weren't as many options to cast as I was hoping but for the money it's a nice product

Purchased this to enable me to cut the Xfinity cord. It's tough not just turning on the TV and not thinking about what to watch. Chromecast requires a decision on which app to open and which show to watch. Most apps work great, Hulu, Netflix, FX. Occasionally they glitch, but I'd give them 99% satisfaction. The one that gives the most trouble is live-streaming on NBCSports. Casting from Chrome browser is the least desirable. Overall, well worth the savings from paying the cable company.. Oh, plus it will help to have a friend with cable that will allow you to use their credentials to get more channels.

Works really well. We use it almost every day. Best purchase we have made in a while! Great product!

If you don't have a smart t.v or don't know how to properly use the smart t.v...the Google Chromecast is a great device to have. I use it to watch all my movies from the Google play app. Not to mention, the Chromecast is really simple to set up and use.

Just pluck into my tv and I can watch all of my movies I have in the cloud so easy to use

It's a good product , it just didn't work for some of the apps we wanted it for. I would recommend this to others, it's just not what I needed.

I am very pleasantly satisfied with this accessory. It does everything I expected it to do, and with very good quality and very user-friendly.

I bought the first version. I needed a second one for another TV. I love how you can stream from Google Photos. The only negative so far is that it crashes with live photos from iphone when trying to stream from Google Photos. Interestingly, videos from Google Photos works well.
