    I have an iPhone my wife has android phone. Now we both can connect to the tv me throw Apple TV and her throw the chromecast

    With options available to control playback via iPhone/Android, windows or apple computer, chrome extension and the library of apps/streaming services supported by Chromecast, it's a pretty solid investment for $30. Easy to set up, maybe 15 minutes total and no upkeep required. If only it worked with Amazon streaming it'd be beyond reproach.

    Added this to an inexpensive TV for the bedroom so we can enjoy Netflix in bed. It's wall-mounted, so I didn't want to deal with a lot of cables or complexity - this works great as it's powered by the TV's USB port. Very convenient if you have an android phone or tablet.
