Much Improved Over Version 1

I really have enjoyed using it but it does come with its issues such as a degraded picture quality and having on and off connection issues with the wireless router (strength and consistency). I upgraded to this version (version 2) so that I could utilize the 5 GHz bandwidth from my new router. This has helped the signal strength and the overall quality of the picture. I am very pleased with the updates from version 1 to version 2. The only drawback I have is that I preferred the smaller, and more slender footprint of the version 1 device, even with the HDMI extender being used. All in all, I am very satisfied.

Perfect for what I wanted!

We also keep our tv in the basement where the wi-fi signal is a little weak. Watching Netflix was a hit-or-miss affair. Thanks to Google Chromecast and its wi-fi antenna, Netflix streams flawlessly. We also can watch YouTube videos again! Excellent value for the price.

Great streaming device

We use it more than we expected. I can run Hulu, Netflix and Youtube directly to my tv and the best part is my phone is the remote! Highly recommend.
