Great for what it's meant to do

Inexpensive, simple to control, integration with google assistant, whats not to like? Biggest complaint is that not all apps allow you to control the volume of the tv, and, on the apps (ie. Netflix) that do, the feature only works sporadically. This issue seems like it's the fault of the 3rd party app developers and not google, but since Google added this in their marketing of the device I'm counting it against them.

Great product but patience is a must

Must have for non-smart TV

Every TV in my house that is not a smart TV is connected to one of these. Makes throwing a movie on in any room in the house a breeze.

Works great not sure how/why its an upgrade

So far I haven't detected a speed difference. Or if I have it's not material. Overall I love Google Chromecast when people come to visit and want to show the photos on their phone. It's a great way to share on a big screen rather than hovering. Integration with YOUTUBE is great. A little trickier for other websites.
