    Works as advertised. Inexpensive, simple to control, integration with google assistant, whats not to like? Biggest complaint is that not all apps allow you to control the volume of the tv, and, on the apps (ie. Netflix) that do, the feature only works sporadically. This issue seems like it's the fault of the 3rd party app developers and not google, but since Google added this in their marketing of the device I'm counting it against them.

    I have 4 of the first generation chrome cast this is the 2nd generation, so clearly I was curious. This new generation is at least twice as fast as the previous generation since it can take advantage of the fastest wireless speeds out there (802.11AC). Everything works exactly the same and the new one is just as reliable as the old version. Google did a fantastic job on these.
