Updated Chromecast

I really enjoyed how quickly I am able to cast to my big TV. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to upgrade their old chromecast.

A Great Add On for a good proce
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the original version and found I wasn't using it as much due to having an XBox One in my bedroom. I have both Apple and Android tablets and an AppleTV. I primarily use the Chromecast for VUDU streaming. Recently, VUDU changed their software and it now prohibits streaming to the AppleTV! The Chromecast is the perfect compromise. For those using tablets and phones to cast VUDU, VUDU typically drops the quality to standard definition and starts the cast at standard definition. You can change that once you're casting to the Chromecast and get full HD with full surround sound. I only wish the Chromecast had a little more to it, like a few built in apps. This version has a magnet, I believe, that is supposed to help support the device so it's not piling down on your HDMI jack. I fount it to be a nice touch, however, the jack on my TV isn't close enough to stick the Chromecast to the tv. The original version had an extension cable to help with this. The new ones do not
