Works perfect for streaming any apps on to your television screen

It works quickly and reliably. If you're more comfortable using your phone than a remote then this is the streaming device for you. Roku is wonderful as well but i didn't want another remote to have to search for in my couch.

the product works fairly wall. Google pixel has some issues connecting , but mostly works.

I used to run the big 3 video viewers via my computer -VGA-TV as a second screen. However, that slowed everything down. I'd be watching a how-to on the tube and following along/researching on the web and every time I'd open or change tabs the video would freeze and buffer. No more! Also, my screen is an odd size so the videos were chopped off or skewed. No more! Just make sure you're on Wi-Fi in order to "cast" to the TV. That one had me baffled for a bit. Set up is super easy - just follow the prompts. $35 for internet TV is tons cheaper than a new fangled $700 set! (My TV is from 2012 and has two HDMI plugs. Just plug it in and tune to HDMI1 and I'm good to go. There are no recurring monthly charges.)

The Google Chromecast is a must with the google mini.

I'm a tech guru. I really love the convenience it adds. This device is sooo easy to use. Really plug and play. The nice thing is that you can control your tv with any smart device. Few times has it lagged, hence the 4 stars, but the interface is so intuitive. I want one for all of my TVs.

I take this with me for my older friends whose kids have gotten them a new, bigger screen TV, that is HDMI ready. My phone has a big screen, for a phone, but not big enough for vision-impaired folks. I can set up the Chromecast, and show them on their big screen YouTube videos & all kinds of stuff off my phone! No more worrying about their pushing those pesky phone buttons or the touchy touchscreen! Some fun!

Easy to use and setup would be great if it came with a means to mount to tv more reliably

I own a first generation chromecast and have been deeply satisfied with it. I wanted to purchase one for my son. I didn't recognize the device at first because it was so fundamentally different. That said, my tech savvy son say he loves this item and uses it all the time. He especially love being able to cast his tablet screen onto the TV. Great gift.

Easy to use. The picture quality is even better than I expected.

Now I can connect any device to my tv and stream videos anytime.

Took a little time to set up but once completed it works well as far as streaming Netflix.

Works good for casting apps from phone but some apps will not cast like spectrum tv because of Charter
