Yet to see major improvements

It's just that I can't tangibly measure any improvements over its predecessor. I have noticed what seems to be some regression in buffering content when casting Vudu. My older chromecast still has no issues when streaming Vudu. However, even with this version connected to my faster Wireless network, I'm seeing issues I don't think I should see. I'm hoping this will be fixed with future updates.

Works as expected

Even for a smart TV it's nice if you do a lot from your computer to the TV. I got this while on sale and am happy with it for the price.

However, that slowed everything down. I'd be watching a how-to on the tube and following along/researching on the web and every time I'd open or change tabs the video would freeze and buffer. No more! Also, my screen is an odd size so the videos were chopped off or skewed. No more! Just make sure you're on Wi-Fi in order to "cast" to the TV. That one had me baffled for a bit. Set up is super easy - just follow the prompts. $35 for internet TV is tons cheaper than a new fangled $700 set! (My TV is from 2012 and has two HDMI plugs. Just plug it in and tune to HDMI1 and I'm good to go. There are no recurring monthly charges.)

It's absolutely awesome and easy to use. Streaming quality is always just as good as on my computer. Plan to buy more for other TVs in my house.
