Best piece of technology ever made

The ability to take a non smart TV and turn it in to one for $30 is amazing. The product is extremely easy to set up and use and works flawlessly.

Had first generation and i can say for certain that this product is leaps and bounds better. Small and compact and fixes the issues with the first one.

Test setup on my TV was a cinch and the online instructions were quick and easy to follow. Required downloading an app for iOS as well as my dad's Android phone - not sweat there. Love the fact that it can make your TV a replica of your phone app or the whole laptop/desktop using Chrome browser! That is what differentiates it from Roku (which I have been using for many years and love!) - would have been better if native apps were also resident to Chromecast than just a screencasting mechanism, but a good value for money nonetheless. In rest mode, the default screens and scrolling news is a nice feature but no good if the TV is switched off... Recommended if you know what you want to do with this device :-)
