Excellent for My Needs

It does not have some of the "bells and whistles" some of the higher dollar units and I don't want it to. I simply want seamless streaming to my 1080p television set for the best cost possible. Given this goal, the Chromecast is amazing as it allows me to stream through both native Android and iOS apps as well as (and perhaps more importantly) directly through my Chrome browser on any Mac, Windows, or Chromebook "laptop." No need for proprietary subscriptions, secret handshakes, or pledges of my firstborn's birth rights. Just a simple solution that works when and how I want it to. All for less than $40, which is just what I needed for my 1080P requirements.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It does what it says it will do, but sometimes it's annoying because I forget to hit the cast button on my phone and then it starts playing in my phone and I have to restart it on the TV. If you want the cheapest streaming experience get this for sure. If you want the best seamless streaming experience with the fewest annoyances get a Roku (we have a Roku 3 on our other TV and it costs more, but it's also a better experience)
