I bought the chrome cast a few months ago and haven't had any major issues. I downloaded the app on my Mac book pro, my Galaxy S3 as the remote, and is connected to my non-cable box Sony Tv, so it is pretty compatible with all devices. I have downloaded a few apps to stream, including Xfinity tv Go, Netflix, HBO go and MTV. I will say some apps will let you cast to the tv on the Mac book but won't let you stream from the cell phone to the tv, xfinity in particular. I haven't download and tried it yet on my iPhone 6. I have been satisfied with stream quality. Once in a while my Mac book will not display my chrome cast device on the tab where it normally shows up, usually once I restart the browser or the chrome cast, the issue is resolved. I did have to reconfigure the device when I got a new wireless router too. All in all it is a good device and I got it for less than 40 bucks, much cheaper than Apple TV.

This was a gift for my son. He found it easy to install and enjoyed using it right away.

I bought this Chromecast after giving my other away to my brother. It is perfect for me since I am lazy and love watching movies off of my Netflix and HBOgo from my phone. But now I can just throw it onto the screen with the Chromecast. I noticed this one refreshes a lot faster than the old one did and less problems so far.

While not as many bells and whistles as apple tv, this does the job at this price level.

Streaming made easy. I was hesitant to buy but glad I purchased chromecast. It was easy to set up and start using in less than 10 minutes. I gave 4 stars because you have to download app to your devices to make it work but otherwise it's a very good product.

Not bad for the Black Friday price, very fast to play you phone video on TV

I previously owned the last generation Chromecast, and I can say that this one runs cooler is snapier in its operations . Came with everything needed and is really simple to set up using the free app.

East to use and great price. I would purchase again.

This little guy kicks the !@#$% out of my Fire and Roku for no lag, no buffering streaming. Running a 200mbs mediacom line, I shouldn't get any lag at all, but this device is maximises the stream and keeps it moving flawlessly. Could always use more cast friendly apps, but the performance is superb.

This my first chromecast device...easy connection and if your pair it up with google home...does exactly what its suppose to do. Mirrors most my streaming applications onto the tv... happy....!!!!
