A must have as part of home entertainment

I attached my device to a home hdmi receiver that feeds into a projector. It was super easy to setup the device. Simply download Google Home app and it will discover the new device to allow you to configure network settings and device name, if you have more than one at home. That was it! YouTube, Pandora, Spotify, you name it, all support this device. Simply tap on the 'cast' icon. I connected my device to my wireless router via a 5G network. So far it is working very well to play YouTube HD content. This device doesn't support 4K. You need to get a different model for the 4K support.

Pretty good if you own and Android

I have it so I can use google Home to control my TV. I wish they have a remote control so I can control the divice without using the phone which is not always readyly available.

We have especially enjoyed viewing family pictures and videos on our 56 inch tv during family gatherings. It is also nice to use when researching things online while using a mobile device because I can can cast the image on the TV screen for my husband to see, instead of constantly handing the device over to him. This gadget basically allows a more shareable and convenient experience, while allowing you to see screen images MUCH larger. The idea is rather simple but offers a plethora of media related opportunities: Enjoy all the features of your mobile device on your tv screen.
