The second generation google Chromecast is a big improvement from the older modle.

I am mostly likely behind the times. But this device is awesome. I love you can down load movies and then take the device with you like on vacation and be able to watch those movies you downloaded. I aslo bought one for my daughter and she loves it.

Great product. Extremely easy to set up. Much better than using the HDMI cable, plus that you can connect it to the phone and project from the comfort of your sofa. Totally recommend it.

Easy to set up and easy to use. Improved my Netflix streaming significantly. No freezing or video delays. Very affordable. Great for YouTube too. Unfortunately not very effective for Amazon or Acorn video. Poor streaming or no streaming respectively

The new and improved Google Chromecast is amazing! As a millennial cord-cutter, being able to stream my favorite shows straight to my TV is a great feature! Simple Setup and works like a charm.

The Chromecast is an inexpensive solution to streaming YouTube, Netflix, and so forth from one device to another. I primarily use it to "cast" videos from my Android phone to my television. For that purpose, the Chromecast works just fine.

Google Chromecast devices are a really great way to upgrade any tv with hdmi input into a smart tv. Love being able to just send whatever I want to watch from my phone to my tv. This uses features built right into most android phones, and can usually be added if not already available on your phone. This product works really well and is a great feature to have in my home. I've been thinking about adding one to my cars display as it would not require much effort for me to do so, and it would allow me to just send whatever I have on my phone screen to my 10" display in the car which I have wanted to do on many occasions.

Easy to set up, easy to use, and excellent quality. I use it for Netflix and YouTube and the user interface is so much better and easier than the DVD player. I use it for many other apps as well. To me with my iPhone it's almost as good as the Apple TV but so much cheaper. I love this thing and use it all the time.

The Google Chromecast seems to me to be the easiest and least expensive way to get into casting and streaming. The low cost doesn't mean "cheap", the device is simple but powerful. Plug it into your TV, run through a few minutes of setup and your done. I always have my Iphone or Ipad within reach and pretty much all the apps I use run flawlessly with this device (WatchESPN, TBS, ABC, TNT, Epix...). Overall I am very happy with the almost non-existent form factor and its simplicity. I know there are more powerful and sophisticated units out there (Apple TV) but for me I wanted something inexpensive, fairly mobile, and reliable. The Chromecast checked all those boxes.

Just plug into the back of your TV and start using apps off your phone

I have a great smart tv but I couldn't watch HBO Go to re-watch every season of The Game of thrones. After researching the internet I came across the Chromecast. Not only was I able to watch HBO but I found so many apps I could play on my tv. One of the best purchases I've made in awhile especially for the price.

Ok but not all apps send video to chrome cast which I would have liked

My favorite feature is that I can stream Pandora onto my tv! I love my chromecast!

Depending on what you like to watch you won't find a less expensive way to stream
