We bought this because our son suggested we use it to stream media. So far we are happy with this device, it is easy to set up, inexpensive and able to be used in different locations.

I had been a first gen loyal buyer, this new gen does not disappoint!! Faster and much better picture quality, process was easy. Will be replacing all of my first gen eventually.

Second one. Liked both. Easy to use and now have on two TV's.

The most interesting feature is the mirror cast. Sometimes there are not applications using the cast, mainly because they don't want, as Dish anywhere. With this feature, I can cast My Dish content to the TV when I'm not at home. Sure, it will consume battery, but is not big deal in this case.

It's the easiest product out there to stream your content to TVs. Resolution and audio are excellent. Setup is an easy task. No complaint for the price and what it can offer.

Chromecast is super easy to install and so much fun. Using the remote for keyboard entry is so frustrating so being able to use my phone and then cast makes life so much better.

Purchased this to stream videos from my phone. It works great for supported video formats, and for those unsupported there is an app that transcoded the videos into the right format and they play flawlessly. I couldn't be happier with my chromecast, and its definitely a better value than roku

Got this for my daughter who is away at school and streams her entertainment. Easy setup and excellent picture. No technical issues like I had with my 1st gen Chromecast.

This device works great with an android device. Streaming to my chromecast has always been flawless. Works from iPhone as well, but requires a compatible app.

Hard to beat for the price. Easy to set up and use. Only con for me is it doesn't have Amazon prime video. I also own a 2016 roku stick, also great but costs a little bit more.

We purchased this for my daughter instead of a smart TV so she could take her ChromeCast with her wherever and watch her shows or listen to her music. She loves all the features on the Chromecast. The ability to upload pictures from your phone and listen to your music is one of her favorites.

Works great for streaming to your tv. Easy to install and connect to WiFi. I would recommend the Google home app if you are using more than one Chromecast at a time.

I was watching movies and TV on my Samsung 5" screen but this device lets me watch them on my full size TV screen. Note: you can power the device with a USB cable if your TV has a spare USB socket thus avoiding another wall brick,

Works right out the box and was connecting media from the iPad in no time. For $20 you can't go wrong with picking one up for your main home theater or just a room tv.

It does what it says. It's easy to set up. It does require later versions of Android o.s. I tried cables and HDMI adapters. No luck. Chromecast was easier to install, and easy to set up. The price was affordable compared to other options.
