Chromecast is easy to use and set up. I also downloaded the chromecast browser extention on my laptop, and it's more convient than having to connect it to an HDMI cord.

The functionality of the base unit Chromecast for the $$$ is insane. It allows streaming of most material natively through the Chromecast apps but for those special circumstances, one can easily stream through the Google Chrome browser. If you feel Google and/or the Chrome browser is the "big, evil, empire," this probably isn't for you. If you're looking for more basic 1080p streaming capability, however, this is an excellent buy for the money. Oh ... if things get a bit "jaggy" and interrupted, it's most likely your connection to the outside world that is at fault rather than this unit.

Easy to use. Directions are clear even for a non-techie like me.

Considering how all I'm trying to do is cast to my TV this does a great job. I can also play Spotify to the TV and use my phone as a remote.

I don't have smart TVs, so being able to cast internet items from my cellphone to my TVs is great. Installation was very easy, and it works very well.

I am a huge fan of all things techie, and had the original Chromecast since it first came out. Needless to say, as soon as I heard they were coming out with an updated version, I had to have it. Just wish there were more Windows-based programs that could cast to it natively.

I bought this just for Netflix on my bedroom tv. It casts just fine at first. However sometimes it looses its connection to both my iPad and iPhone. The movie will keep playing but I have no control of it on the iPad or iPhone. It's one of those things where you get what you pay for.

The new cromecast (2015) looks kind of strange but it works even better than the first one. Better antennas, the addition of 5 gigahertz frequency, and a cord to plug it in. Now it fits anywhere. The magnet on the back keeps things tidy too. Now all it needs is 4k support.....

We like it. It is easy to set up. We are able to use on any tv.

We love this! We are able to put netflix on our phone and it shows up on the tv and then able to do other things on our phone without it messing up our movie. A great way to have a smart tv without buying a new tv!

Chromecast allows me to cast what I want to see from my phone to my TV. While watching it on TV, I have to control my movies from my phone. I wish chromecast provides a remote control like Roku.

Outstanding product. Easy to use and set up. The picture quality is outstanding both on a samsung 55 inch TV and a smaller 32 inch. These days everyone needs at least one of these in their home.

This device can stream to any HDMI screen many content with Google Cast, just download the app or extension to do it ... Great quality, no lags, ...Excellent product

Good, works great. Cheap, but sometimes is finicky.

I've had the original Chromecast for a while. This is version 2, and it certainly feels like it! It's twice as fast when loading any videos that I've streamed to my TV. I really like the magnet to attach the HDMI cable to the main body of the device, too.
