This is my second ChromeCast and it works the same as version 1.0. It is easy to set up and seems to be a little faster when casting to it from any capable device.

The Chromecast does what is supposed to do (cast my computer to my tv), but it is not as smooth as I thought it would be. I have a fairly powerful router and both my laptop and chromecast are connected wirelessly using 5GHz channels but the stream still shutters and shakes often. Still, it serves its purpose although with a few shortfalls.

Setup is easy. Once connected on the same network, all the devices are connected without any issue. It obviously works w/ Android but also Windows devices.

It's nice and fast and good video clarity with no buffering

This model is so much better then the first gen. I love it.

Faster then the 1st gen Chromcast and still a a great price.

Does what it says, only had one time so far that I had to disconnect and reconnect it because it wouldn't respond to remote commands. The 5GHz support that should have been in the last iteration of Chromecasts is a welcome change so I can stream higher quality video now.

I'm loving my new chrome cast. The setup was easy and streaming my favorite shows from my iPad is a breeze. The price is a great price point as well.

Chrome cast is an inexpensive way to stream Internet video for those who do not have a SMART TV. Chrome cast works well with my desk top and my Android tablet.

i had the first gen chromecast but had issues with connections and poor signal quality, so I upgraded to this newer version. the connection is better than before and it is able to use my 5ghz wifi band which increase the quality/signal a lot. i recommend upgrading, i got this over black friday for pretty good deal.

I had the original Chromecast on all 4 TVs but recently cut the cord and found out the new Chromecast is much improved on streaming performance for 1080P with Hulu and Google TV. Highly recommend if you want to avoid waiting/stutters during playback.

This product works great and it comes in handy for streaming netflix or youtube for our daughter. It was easy to set up and also a great product for the price.

I like this new Chromecast. It gets the job done. Its very helpful when casting anything from your phone or PC onto your tv. The only thing I dislike about it, is that it cannot broadcast in 1040p. Google says they're working on it. Other than that I highly recommend it.

Love this product no more need of connecting a bunch a wires all over the place to play a video from phone. It also saves your battery life or you can simply play something while using your phone for something else, without the video stoping on your tv. Recommend it!!!

Easy to setup and use! Watching apps on my tv within minutes. Great variety of apps to cast tv, works as intended. No palmed whatsoever on iPhone or android tablets

This product works great for streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc., from a smart phone or computer. Most functions work easily out of the box. It's also a pretty open platform so if you're a tinkerer you can use it to stream using lots of different software and lots of different forms of media (e.g., old divx movies). I've heard VLC is adding support soon! That said, the screen mirroring doesn't work very well (there's a lot of lag). I use a Wireless G network so maybe this would be relieved with N or AC, but I wasn't able to stream games, for instance, from my OS X Mac to the TV via Chromecast.

Awesome stuff.....very handy to have and even easier to use

I love how this new one doesn't stick out like the previous model. Works just as good as the previous with additional features. Just as previous model, I can mirror my note 4 to my TV. My tv is over 5 years old and do not have smart capability and this solves all that.

Google chromecast is easy to use and one of the most inexpensive ways to stream and or stream from your phone to the tv for optimal viewing.

If you get a smart TV from Samsung or other manufacturers, you have to basically be fine with what you're given in the box. You can count on no further updates. If something glitches, well that's rough. But with the Chromecast, you're getting something from Google, who does have a slight tendency to retire products on a whim, but more often than not, pushes out updates much more regularly. This thing is so simple. I set it up on an iPhone and iPad. I can launch Netflix and YouTube speedily. You want something that just does what it says it's going to do. That's the Chromecast. Simple.
