Cheapest, best streamer.

True now a days most consoles, TVs and players have Netflix but for a wall mounted room TV with no cable connection or you just don't want too many wires you can't beat this. You can do all your normal streaming, YouTube, Hulu with ease but even regular online sites just by using Google chrome browser. Definitely worth it. I mean 35 bucks and comes on sale often. Take a chance.

It works like Apple TV except that you do it from a Chrome browser instead of from your iPhone. Perfect for the price. I like that the body is magnetic and attaches to the cable - it makes for a cleaner look at the back of the TV.

For me, it's better than 1st gen model

Of course, the sale price helped but it also is much better on my wi-fi. Videos start much quicker and I find myself using this newer model more often than the 1st gen. The bulk of the videos I play are MP4 and MKV's (both x265 and x264) on my 720p Pioneer plasma and really haven't had any problems at all. Setup like the 1st gen was very easy and I started playing videos within mins. The improvements made in the newer model made this an easy recommendation to others, Will travel with the first gen and keep the newer model at home.

Easy Set Up and Use

No problems casting, runs smooth. Great value for the price. Just make sure your device and chrome cast are on the same network.

Color is not quite good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am using a Dell Venue 8 3840 with a Samsung 25.5' monitor to watch Flixter through this Chromecast. The color seems to be a little pink, compared with the Venue 8 screen. The operation procedure seems to be a little not normal for people using computer daily. I am not sure, if the work flow is good for non-technical people.

Seamless casting to TV
