Got this for $25, and it works great. Easy set up, and can cast anything on your PC to it, allowing you to view anything on your PC screen on your tv.

Compact and doesn't take up space. Had trouble getting the app to connect, but once I did it's been smooth as butter. Movies look great through the cast.

I am using a Dell Venue 8 3840 with a Samsung 25.5' monitor to watch Flixter through this Chromecast. The color seems to be a little pink, compared with the Venue 8 screen. The operation procedure seems to be a little not normal for people using computer daily. I am not sure, if the work flow is good for non-technical people.

This is nice device to device to stream from laptop or phone. It doesn't come with remote. You need to use your phone as a remote.

There are newer Chromecasts, but they're all the same except for resolution. Plug and play simplicity for streaming YouTube, Netflex, or other media content to any TV with a USB port. It is easy and a must have to make any dumb TV smart

Its a great item to have for netflix..best part is my phone is the remote so no losing the remote! The price is a great deal and easy to set up :)

Sometimes ChromeCast CUBE high school sporting events freeze on my TV, but this may be my computer or WIFI problem and not ChromeCast, I am not sure. The events look fine on the computer, but occasionally freeze or get splotchy on my TV. I have not tried watching movies or UTube stuff. Overall, I am pleased with ChromeCast.

This is a great product that connects with your mobile device, it took a couple of tries to sync with my phone which is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 but once it does it works great. what a great way to share pics and videos from a mobile device to a big screen, highly recommend this product

Now my led tv it is a smart tv, thanks to chromecast

I bought this for my son and daughter's room which has a HDTV that's not a Smart TV. All I had to do was follow the instructions provided with the Chromecast and I was up and running within a few minutes. If you have a Smart TV or XBox/PS4 then you don't necessarily need this as this simply allows you to "cast" applications from a mobile device or computer to the Chromecast. My only complaint is that I'm unable to cast the TWC/Spectrum app on my iPhone to my TV. This is not a fault of the Chromecast, but more on the app developers for TWC/Spectrum.

I also own the previous model Chromecast. My only real gripe with it was the streaming bandwidth, which could sometimes hitch up or take a while to initially buffer. The faster WiFi connection in this model fixes that, and the price makes it an easy upgrade.

Chromecast is a great device and wireless streaming is awesome. YouTube, Netflix and the like. It is not a straight screen mirror of your tablet, however. Research first, and make sure the apps you want to use are supported by Chromecast. Hope this helps.

I purchased a number of these for my office and expected them to have similar latency issues that the previous generation Chromecasts suffered from. Not at all! This new gen of Chromecast fixed many of the issues the old version had in a better form factor.

Must have to stream from mobile device to television

I love the google chromecast as everyone in the house can broadcast media on it from their phones, ipads, and computers which is so much more convenient then having to connect and disconnect wires..

Overall good! Connection goes in and out sometimes.

Bought this for my sister and have used it a few times. Seamlessly cast to the TV from most apps. It is definitely easy to setup and use. Works very well for most videos available over the internet.
