This works better than the 1st gen that I had. I notice very little lag between my phone or tablet and the TV.

I can't say enough good things about this. It's great for parties or cuddling on the couch. I use my Chrome cast all the time and don't have any problems. The only thing that I'm running into is that thereally are individual apps that require payment before unlocking the casting option but that's nothing to do with the device or Chrome!

Does exactly what it says its supposed to. Hard to knock it when it works as advertised. I also like the new design, and how it matches the audio one, they make a good pair. Look out for discounts if you want to grab both.

I like this model better than the old one because it does not block up your space on the back of two ports. Easier to use.

I bought it and took about 5 minutes to setup; very easy to setup. Casting from my phone to 46" TV works with no problem.

I bought this a year ago for my mom as a birthday present. I hoped it would be easy to use since my mom isn't up to speed with the latest technology. She had recently canceled her cable but she still wanted to watch movies every now and then so she became thrilled she got this. The instructions were simple and I was able to connect it to the TV in less than 10 min. You do have to have a smartphone and wifi in order for it to work tho. The only reason why I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 is because it sometimes it buffers but that may just be the area where the TV is located.

It is one of the most convenient devices I've used. Streaming things onto the tv has become successful a breeze. No hassle.

Broadcast television is great, but streaming is the future, and Google's Chromecast is one of the easiest ways of getting video streams onto your existing non-smart TV.

Works flawlessly, set up is not that bad but wished it had a quicker set up. Besides that it's great so far I have 3 and all my tvs are smart but this is just so much better works with iPhone and Android

I love how easy it is to just plug it onto my Tv. Being able to just stream it off my phone is awesome. Definitely worth buying!

I have a smart tv that's a few years old now but I bought this because it makes accessing the internet so much easier and convenient since you can control it all through your phone rather than an extra remote or keyboard.

Easy to set up and easy to use. I enjoy streaming movies, sports YouTube and whatever else we are interested in watching.

This unit is awesome. Instead of buying an expensive blue tooth wifi receiver, I got this inexpensive gadget that allows you pick up wifi on your TV. Now I get to watch NETFLIX on my bedroom TV with no big investment...

Bought this to replace our old Chromecast that is failing after several years. Easy to set up and allows us to watch Netflix on our old not-so-smart TV.

I Think this piece of technology that I brought inside my house that may or may not be survelanced by the FBI is incredible I think this device is awesome but I think that we shouldn't have to pay for the public channels. Why are we paying for channels that are free over the air.

I give this product an average review due to the product occasionally not connecting with my phone or computer. I have tested with not only my phone, but my wife's as well. When those fail, I would also test with a laptop, assuring me that it was the chrome cast itself that would not connect to my devices. Other than this issue, all is well with this product. It is easy to stream netflix, hula, or even youtube. Would still recommend if you are patient during the few times it does not connect.
