It does whats intended. You can watch almost anything on your phone. I dont like the fact that it takes it a while to sync to your phone or you lose connection to your phone and thats it. Other than that it works fine

Didn't have the previous version of Chromecast so nothing to compare it to but it streams great, stays connected & I can use my unlimited data to mirror from phone...yay!

So this is my third chrome cast and it’s simple to use . Cheap and makes viewing videos on the big screen easy

Super simple, plug and play! Works with various apps. Some minor lag issues at times which may cause "restarting" but that could be the app not necessarily the device.

I loved the original Chromecast and I got excited when the new model came out, so I bought two of them during Black Friday. It's still as reliable as ever, with the wireless connection on the new model being improved.

If you are into WiFi casting, this would be a great device for your home theatre package... however, I have purchased mine to use it in the car, so I can cast movies to the kids while on the road...

Gave my TV a $100+ option for 30 bucks works great.was the only reason I was thinking of upgrading my set...no need now.

Bought this for my old Philips LCD and used it to stream from my Samsung Galaxy phone. Have access to HBO shows through a cable account from my Mom. Its the greatest device ever invented!!! One drawback is it needs to be powered by external outlet so an outlet better be close by.

I bought this for my brother, he doesn't have SMART TV. Now he can watch videos from laptop and stream from Youtube.

This is the third Chromecast I have purchased. Extremely easy to set up and it has always worked exactly as advertised.

I have been using a Chromecast for several years now. I was curious how the new one would perform. The design is nicer than previous version. I do a ton of video streaming and so far I can't tell the difference in quality nor app availability. I am satisfied with my purchase.

50" plasma wasn't a smart tv. This was a super easy solution. Works perfectly with my note 5. Also can't beat the price

This tiny Google Chromecast gadget to isten to my favorite music anywhere in my house is just fantastic. I don't have words to thank Google for its design and Best-Buy for its very reasoanble price.

Is compatible with android and Iphone. can also use your laptop to link it up to your TV. I've had it for a few years and it still works amazing.

DirecTV refuses to broadcast Fox Sports which carries many Football games. Blue Shirts suggested using Chromecast to view games and it worked with my Samsung S-7 which I also purchased at Best Buy!!

Sometimes I use my TV to watch what I do in my laptop, like watching movies, PPT presentations or watching YouTube from my laptop to big TV screen. Since I have Smart TV I could easily share my screen but it is too much slow. To avoid this I use HDMI cable, which looks clumsy that some wires are hanging in the middle of the room. I bought this device with an intention that it would be faster and sharing the screen would be much more easy. Everything seems to be fine except it is slow.... it killed my fun. However it is effective but needs patience. At least I did not expect this from Google device.

The google chromecast is a great accessory to basically increase your view screen from the small size of your phone. Whether your showing pics or videos for fun from your library or presenting something more formal bwhile traveling, google Chromecast makes sharing alot easier.

This was a purchase for the TV at work. We have DirecTV so adding the TV was not a option. I figured we all have cell phones so this was the best way to go. I wish we had gone another route . If someone connects then no one else can without resetting the device . The gust option is set but for some reason only one person per power cycle can use it. While using it it does work well , but the fact that it locks to one device is a pain. I with we would have chose a dedicated device instead.

I had an old version of a chromecast and decided to buy this new one when I was moving to leave the other one to my mom. It has a more stable connection than the older one I have and it looks nicer.

It works exactly the way it says it does. It's super easy to use right out of the box. I didn't think I would mind not having a remote but I now kind of wish it had one.
