My built in Netflix app on my tv was giving me problems and the YouTube app was being discontinued so I bought this and couldn't be more happy. This works great and there is no buffering. Love it!

I am a college student and I use the Chromecast for the television in my apartment bedroom and it is perfect for watching Netflix, listening to music or watching YouTube lectures while I study. It is a much cheaper alternative to a smart TV or an additional cable box and I can easily hook it up to the TV in my living room with no problems. The only bad thing is that if you have movies purchased through iTunes with no alternate account attached (Disney Movies Anywhere, Vudo, Flixster, etc) then you will not have the capability to stream them. Other than that it is totally worth the price!

I love this device. It's so easy to use. My 3 year old can connect his YouTube videos and Disney videos to the TV. He loves it. The connectivity is great. I have a fire tv stick and this works better than that.

Set up was easy. Like that I can use my phone to stream content. Dislike that my options are so limited with this device. I prefer my roku because there are so many channels, including Amazon videos.

Really good streaming quality and performance. Seems to be the most universal way for apps to stream to the TV.

The Chromecast was easy to set up and use right out of the box. Casting to the TV is quick and seamless.

I wasn't completely sure of what to expect when I pulled it out of the box and installed it on my TV. It probably works best for me with a tablet that has all of the applications loaded onto it to be able to stream through Google Chromecast. I don't have enough space on my phone to be able to hold all of the apps that I have access to, but other than that, it is a really great product!

With Google Chromecast, you can turn any television with an availble HDMI port into a 'smart' television. From your device of choice, you can stream photos, movies and music, access a variety of online apps, watch Netflix, Vudu, Hulu, and a whole host of other video streaming channels. All this, for just $35. I highly suggest puling the trigger if you are on the fence about whether or not to buy one. Even if it isn't everything you'd hoped and dreamed it would be, it is still a very worthwhile purchase & will add options to your home entertainment abilities that you do not already have.

I had the old one and in my opinion, it works just the same. I use it for streaming movies from my Samsung tablet with Hulu/Netflix. As far as us By the Cast Screen option, it's no different than the original model.

I am pleasantly surprised by the capabilities of this little product! I like that I can remotely access everything I need form my phone. It just makes life easier having everything at one place.

Set up my Chromecast in only 15 minutes. Picture is crystal clear with no lag. Great value, especially when $10 off!

A much cheaper alternative to buying a new smart tv. It works great and integrated well with my Google Home.

Literally is plug-and-play. Very easily set up & cast YouTube videos from Samsung phone to LG TV through Chromecast.

This unit is definitely better than its predecessor! The wireless is faster and the apps for Chromecast's have only grown. I use it to watch Netflix, Starz, and even YouTube playlist in the school's weight room.

Coming from a Windows Phone which had so much more connectivity, it was an adjustment moving to Android and GOOGLE protocol. But if you're going to cast your phone under this operating system, this is the way to do it. It works well, and as advertised.

Since my purchase of the original ChromeCast I have loved these little things. They allow me to effortlessly Cast my screen (Phone or Computer) to the TV as well as various streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc). The new model is faster and utilizes the 5.4GHz spectrum to assist with the growing problem that is wifi congestion in apartments. Please note, you cannot directly stream from Amazon Prime but there are a few workarounds that allow you to do this.

Project anything on your phone to your tv. Great for watching YouTube videos or viewing photos. Can also be used to wirelessly project your computer screen to the tv. One of my favorite gadgets

Works great with Google apps like play to cast on TV but when I try to cast other contents from phone it lags. Runs pretty smoothly other wise.
