Easiest to plug into the back of your tv. Set up is quick and simple! And it streams amazingly! A must have!!!!!

This little gadget is great to have in a home. I use it in my dorm, the common room, and back home. It starts up and streams faster than most smart tv apps. The only real downside is that it has to be plugged in. With its design it seems like it should be chargeable.

This is a excellent addition to any TV with an HDMI input. Allows to easily connect PC, phone tablet to a TV to show content. Even though my Smart TVs have some of the features and functions of the Chrome cast it still has value because it sometimes the TV functions don't work as well as the Chrome cast and there are things the TV's won't do the can be done with Chrome cast. Its small and can be powered by the USB in the TV, so it can be out of sight and just works.

My mom isn't the most tech savvy person but all her kids are so I got this for her to use at home so when the kids come over and want to show her things she can see it on a big screen instead of my tiny phone.

I have these on all of our TV's. It's so easy to cast streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube) as well as photos and videos from our phones. At work, I have these displaying dashboards from Chrome sessions on our servers. Our lobby TV shows a Google Slide presentation that can be modified on the fly. These are incredibly versatile! NOTE: If you find that running a microwave oven knocks your Chromecast off the wifi, try Google's Ethernet Adapter for Chromecast.

I love my google chromecast. I use it in conjunction with my Samsung tablet and can stream almost anything. I often use the google home app to mirror-cast my tablet screen to the tv, and stream from there. Or, if what I want to watch is available in a chromecast compatible app (which almost every streaming app is), I just cast directly from the app. I’ve purchased multiple chromecasts. I think it’s safe to say I have a slight affinity for it lol.

Not much has changed in Chromecast Version 2.0 but it's still a great product. I was a little disappointed. Kinda seems like they just changed the design of the unit but used nearly the same cheap hardware. Don't get me wrong, I still love it, but not much has changed.

It was very easy to set up, worked perfectly for accesssing streaming content and the picture is great.

The only issue I've had is that not all apps are chromecast compatible. Also I've had issues connecting every once in a while but otherwise a great product.

The Google Chromecast is easy to set up and use. I can easily cast to it from my smartphone or my tablet.

Its a must in any household. Easy to install and use. You can't go wrong with this price. The quality is great too.

I brought this 2 stream my cell phone (Note 5) to my TV because I do not have a smart TV. It works but will freeze occasionally. Must disconnect from phone and reconnect. Issue maybe my Samsung Note 5 cell phone

Good for the money. Easy install. Can stream without cable. Only downside is that there is no remote with it. Must you cell phone or tablet as a remote.

Wasn't sure how difficult it would be to watch my Google content on the TV, but Chromecast made it easy. Great picture quality and simple plug in process.

Works as expected. I have an earlier version of the Chromecast and this one definitely works better. The older one always seems to lose connection even though it sits no more than 6 feet from my router. The newer unit is at the other end of the house and on a different floor, and it never drops connection. I'm still waiting for more Android aps to support native casting, which would free up my tablet for other things while a program is playing on the TV.

Good quality videos, no real lag, good for the kids to use makes watching vids on phone a lot btter on the big screen

Having 3 Google Homes, 2 Home Mini's, Smart Switches, Smart Plugs, Alexa, Smart Dimmers etc... is awesome. This product adds even more smartness to your house. Telling google to play videos from Netflix and YouTube is awesome. All you do is just say "hey google play ??? on whatever you named your chromecast during setup. I cast videos to this device, screen mirror to this device, cast music to this device and so much more. Love it!!
