I find myself using this more than my Nvidia Shield or Fire TV. With built in Google Home integration its simple to just ask google to start a movie on netflix or watch a youtube video.

I truly enjoy using chromecast for casting video's/movies/desktop as well to project them on bigger screen and present/share the presentations with roommates.. It is very useful product

I gave my old Google Chromecast to my daughter and I like this new one even more. It provides a seamless interface to project from my iPod to my TV with wonderful image and sound quality.

I own three Chromecasts and all function great. I do wish they had more app content providers, since I prefer to use my iPad or iPhone instead of Google Chrome on the PC to cast. It's good for travel too, if you spend a good bit of time on the road or in hotels.

I was looking for a way to make my old (5 years) 55" dumb tv smart. This does the job great, for only $35. Now we can enjoy You tube videos together on the big screen without having to pass phones around.

We bought this as an upgrade to our Chromecast One, and found that upon switching, streaming media uploaded much quicker, with a slower buffering time, and the design is much smoother and more compact. A+

When I first bought this device, I didn't really know what to do with it. Now, I use very cleverly to turn on the TV to Star Trek for my dog, when I'm not home. Not that my dog cares, but I think it makes her think someone is home. It's also great to stream content from my phone or iPad to my TV. Another fantastic use case is playing / changing YouTube shows like Wheel of Fortune for my mom remotely, since she is in her 90s.

I love my Chromecast. It makes it so much easier to watch shows and videos from my computer or phone. Before I had to use an hdmi cable and set my device by the TV. Now I can cast anything wirelessly from anywhere! The only issue I've found is that if your WiFi isn't very strong, it'll affect how well you can cast. That little puck doesn't have very good pickup range. Plus, I have a pretty cheap router, so that doesn't help. But if you do have good WiFi, this is the no nonsense, simple solution for you. And if you use a Google Home, these little guys can be very handy.

This product solved the problem to put my laptop on tv by hdmi. Now I can streaming totally wirelless. Great!!!

I like this streaming device because you can stream your laptop screen easily. Great performance and fast.

wow is all i can say. this 2nd gen cast is much better. my old 1st gen was having rang issues but this new 2nd gen solved that with it better antennas.

Google Chromecase is an excellent product which is a must if you want to watch streaming shows/movies with hdtv. works nicely with our samsung hdtv.We can't live without the chromecast!

I use chrome cast to primarily watch Netflix. This newer version does a great job and set up was fairly easy.

Great, easy to setup. Much cleaner then running an HDMI cable. Set it and forget it. It's there when you need it.

Such a great product. Easy to set up and use. Tons of apps feature casting. Only downside is no remote or UI.

I like this better than Apple TV! This is truly just plug and play! Works great even with my iPhone and iPad without needing a separate remote. My iPad and iPhone functions wonderfully as the remote. This is ideal when typing in long passwords, that only need to enter once. It is much easier to connect to than Apple TV. I love the games that you can play such as Monopoly Life and Driver. I got it at a great price too! No problems with it at all. Connecting is seemless.

This device does a great job streaming content to my tv via wifi. It runs in hi-def, so that's a bonus. Only drawback is that you have to "stop casting" if you want multiple controls on separate phones.

When I bought the device the salesman told me that it didn't require WiFi, it does by the way. It works great as long as you have that connection for your Chromecast. The set up process wasn't the easiest but once it's done it works smoothly.

We do not do cable, and for years tethered our phones to our smart tv. And streamed seamlessly until our provider eliminated that option in recent updated.. Using this device is am able to stream via WiFi through my phone and watch movies without and issue while still using my phone and providing WiFi to other devices in my house at the same time! Set up was relatively painless and I imagine it's much easier with your home Internet or cable in your house...
