Extremely easy to install and very self explanatory. Works great with tablets, iPhone and iPad.

I bought Chromecast because I wanted to get HBO now on my TV and since that app isn't available on basic smart tv....I had to get it. I was pleasantly surprised with how inexpensive it was. It was very simply and basic to install. My only beef is you are only able to browse thru movies etc on your phone/computer and once a choice is selected it is streamed to your tv. If you are trying to decide what to watch with multiple people, it makes it hard because everyone cant see the choices. Regardless, it is still fun and I'm glad I can watch Game of Thrones now =-)

I have the first generation and use it in a room without other connectedness. It can stream lots of things but sometimes takes some figuring out depending on the app or source. This can make it frustrating for those who want to point and click a remote. But if you take it for what it is and can do, this is a neat little device. This new version's extension on the hdmi makes it much better to fit into tight spaces in a row of hdmi connections.

It was perfect just what I needed correct size easy to use. Took me moments to install.

The Chromecast works great for media streaming and phone mirroring, but you should be aware of the following limitations: - You must use an android device to control it; there is no independent interface or control mechanism; - It only works with applications that support chromecast streaming; - If you want to use the chromecast to turn on your TV, it needs to be plugged into always-on USB power which is most likely independent of the USB ports on the back of your TV. Other than that, it is super easy to set up and get working!

The Chromecast does stream 1080p media to the TV. Installation is stupidly easy. Streaming lags significantly if I cast the whole desktop though.

Really useful and simple to use, fits in any TV with a HDMI port and pretty fast and stable.

I bought this so I could get media from my phone/pc onto my TV and it works great. I love being able to come home from the gym and just have my TV pick up and play the music I was listening to.

Its working good. I did not see much difference between older version and newer version. Both seems to be working at the same speed and quality.

Great option when you don't have cable. On occasion the show/movie has froze, but normally starts again in a few seconds. Minimal commercials makes for more enjoyable watching.

It works great with picture and sound quality. Only takes a few minutes to set up and your ready to go!

I've owned one before i bought this one. They are just so reliable when it comes to streaming videos from phone to TV. The only reason i couldn't give a 5-star rating because it needs to connect to a working Internet wifi to work.

The chromecast is easy to set up and use, it's a great part of our home entertainment system! Set up through the google home app. only takes a few minutes and then you're ready to go. It's very convenient to be able to cast videos, shows, movies, etc. from my phone or tablet right to the tv. The video quality is very good and I typically don't have any problems with the wifi connection through the chromecast.

I bought this for a friend so that he could watch netflix on his tv on his porch. This did the trick. This product was recommended by a sales person. My friend is very happy with the purchase.

This item truly mirrors your phone/tablet. I was afraid that it would only mirror certain viedos from certain apps, but it does exactly what it says it does. I like to watch movies from my phone and Chromecast allows me to watch the movie and text (without the text appearing on the screen) at the same time. I'm technology illiterate and I still found it easy to use. I absolutely LOOOOOOVE IT and would recommend it to everyone!!!!
